I have been working on this guy for a little while now. I was just wondering what type of character he is and what guide would be the bets to follow. Also is there anything I should change or is this character too weak. Below are some pictures of his stats:

There are two good guides for those who use a bow as weapon:

http://www.silkroadforums.com/viewtopic.php?t=5044

All I say is that you are doing great, and maybe want to add fire for more damage ^^

good start but i noticed one thing

your bow skill is lvl 20 fire lvl 19 and light lvl 15
good set
if u farmed
you have only 2 sp so i would start a 3-4 lvl gap as ur lvling that u get some sp

when u do get more sp get the piercing force skill
as it adds up in higher lvls it makes a difference

someone correct me if im wrong bout ^ that

one problem...

i think your a low level right?

and u only got 2 sp...you gonna need alot more sp....150k sp for a typical build.

either stop your mastery or delevel for 9 level gap and start sp farming

farming and level gaps

First level gaps
As u level up you can add a lvl to a mastery, but it cant go higher than you, Fiero, you have a 0 level gap because there is 0 levels between ur lvl and ur highest mastery lvl

There are two types of farming, exp and sp,
currently you are exp with your 0 level gap, this means you are gaining more exp than sp experience with each kill
sp farming is when u change the ratio of exp to sp per kill by increasing your lvl mastery. From what ive heard people consider farming lvls start with a 5-lvl gap and the max is a 9-lvl gap,
the perferable time to sp farm alot is a lvl 16 with a sos bow at the center of the bandit den, it has the highest spawn rate for low lvls,

I,myself have a 7 lvl gap at the moment trying to farm the headless guys.

hope this helps

and to get your server under your name in profile, under location type server name

Well what do you suggest I do..I really dont want to start again. I have been following the STR/Bow guide written on the forums, does it matter if I farm or not?

In the end everybody has to farm.. to make his build stronger in pvp. Cause after all, when you are at the cap that's all you will do. However it is up to you when to farm.

You can wait with farming, and only get the skills you need to keep killing mobs. This will allow you to still lvl fast, and decide for yourself when to farm.. for example when you get a nice weapon someday.

Skills I recommend to take ^^
Fire: imbue, flame body and the passive
Lightning (32 only): Wind Walk Series! and the passive. Piercing force is optional.
Pacheon: everything except the black hawk, and autumn wind

With these skills you still lvl very fast and can decide for yourself when to farm.. for example at lvl 52..

I'd just keep going.. actually you always farm. If you get your hands on a nice weapon someday you can just drop your masteries and farm with that weapon.

If you happen to run out of sp for skills your mastery becomes lower then your lvl automatically.. meaning you will sp farm anyway when you need to. You could also keep a 2/3/4 lvl difference by yourself

It's completely up to you ^^

if you take a look at the map and see the den/stronghold (cant get to pic at moment) the black build at the middle has ramps on the north and south side, going up there is the highest spawn rate of the bandits in a single spot
be warned there are a lot of other people farming so ksing will probally common

you should always sp farm so stop now and sp farm until you get the needed sp for future lvls

yea u can farm now, at 70, or whenever
most people farm some at 16, more at 52, then finally at 69-70 to max their capped char

You should read my suggestions in various farming threads among this section of the forum. I highly suggest starting over and farming atleast SOME amount of sp. You have no idea how much easier it is to farm and then move on with the game.

I know that you don't want to give up your current char, but to be honest with you, if you want to be serious about SRO, restart. I can get to lv 18 without ticket in under one day of playing and in like 4 hours of lvl'ing in that day. So attaining lv 20 isn't really that difficult or time consuming.

http://www.silkroadforums.com/viewtopic.php?t=20299

I think it was in this thread where I suggested my way of farming. If you can't get your hands on a SoS 16 bow, then just use a 3-5 lvl gap and play the game like that. Zero gapping the game without farming is next to impossible. Zero gapping only allows enough sp for 2 trees with limited skills within them. You won't be satisfied with your character build and you'll hate SRO because you can't compete with everyone else. So my suggestion to you, is to farm atleast SOME sp. Having 2 sp at lv 20 is seriously depressing.

To answer your questions, using sp will just allow you to upgrade or attain skills and masteries. If you don't have enough sp, obviously you can't compete as well as others who have sp to lvl up everything. Lv 70s with 0 gaps obviously will do better than lv 70s with a 5 gap. But that's not the point! You don't know how crowded the caves are when you get to 64+. Aside from competing with others for mobs, mobs don't give 'enough' sxp for you to get enough sp for skills. To upgrade a lv 60+ skill or mastery, it costs in upwards of 1k sp.

I might as well say this and don't take this as a dis or anything, but this game is difficult. The grind is absolutely horendous as you get to lv 57+ w/o item mall help. The difficulty almost resembles an exponential curve. Just wanted to give you a fair warning before you get a real chance to whine about the game

What I think he is trying to say here is....No you will not be "weaker" but if you don't farm _some_ SP you WILL be weaker. because those that have farmed will have ALL of their trees where those that have run with a 0 gap will not.....thus.....weaker overall. :)
