Well...
Today, I went and got the new Linkin Park CD - Minutes To Midnight. Went home, eagerly broke open the seal, and popped it into my laptop.
First song - sounded okay. Kind of like the Intro to Meteora.
Then everything went downhill from there.
WTF, LINKIN PARK! They blew me away. And not a OMG-it's-so-good-blew-me-away. No, a WTF-dude-blew-me-away. Their new CD SUCKS, and I mean, SUCKS. What happened to their style, what they sounded like in Hybrid Theory and Meteora? They're starting to sound like those Emo bands now, and that's just gay.
Your thoughts, guys?
On the other hand, I also got the new Maroon 5 CD. This one OMG-it's-so-good-blew-me-away.

you should add a negative option instead of a Huge positive, and a positive.....thats kinda limiting our voting options isn't it? o0
i thought it was a rehash of the sam eold stuff they did just wrose cause i've heard it all before. No new sounds no new music bascially...im not a big fan of LP to begin with but i didn't like it hat much i expected more from them.
5/10

Damn straight. I keep trying to give the CD another try, but after a few seconds, I get sick, and I take it out.
Sperm, am I forgiven for the Semen thing? I was JP, man. :oops.
I changed the poll options - didn't know it was messed up like that.

It's supposed to be a new sound and music....I don't like it that much except for What I've Done.
I too prefer their older works.

lololol bandwagon freaks. There was a topic before about the same cd, and most people were going "omg it was SOOOOO great."
Quote: FenaCorp PostPosted: Sat May 26, 2007 12:28 pm IMHO, I think that I liked their old style a little more... Just a little more appealing. That's not to say that this album isn't good. Linkin Park, no matter what, kicks ass. Very Happy
LOL

ROFL, did I say that?
The more I listen to it, though, the more sick to my stomach I get. I really regret saying that.
- Edit -
OK, I'll admit it. I'm a bandwagoning freak, like you so elegantly put it, MrJoey. I need to change that habit, haha.

You bandwagoned on the other topic. In this one, everyone jumped the bandwagon to say the cd sucked. There's so much bandwagoning in forums, it gets retarded eventually. ._.

Well, TBH, I think when I posted that, I only had heard the What I've Done, and the other song... forgot the name now. I hadn't bought the CD yet, and from what I HAD heard, What I've Done was decent.
Oh, yeah, One Perfect Something, that was the name.
Now that I've gotten the CD, my official stance is that it sucks.
But yeah, I guess I do bandwagon occasionally. Just one of the qualities that makes me human.
And I'm sure you don't, from time to time?

I post my opinion, regardless of what everyone in the topic thinks. I haven't listened to the cd, so I make no opinion on it. You will probably never see me bandwagon.

Actually, you're right - I've seen your replies to other threads, and they're usually concise and straight to the point. Not to mention that you don't really seem like the type, anyways.
But if you haven't listened to it, I advise you not to buy it. Waste of money. What I've Done is alright, but all the other songs like Bleed It Out just sound way too emo for my taste.
