How do the books not connect to the plot of the games? they do exactly(or close,just little details) lol but the 2nd book did suck unless you hadnt played the entire campaign of halo 1.. but he was a different author of the other 2.
and yeah there are other *spoiler* spartan II's on onyx (read the book ghost of onyx>>)+ dr.hasley but yeah, looking forward to it. Intresting how Sgt Johnson made it off halo 1(lol @ legendary ending on the last lvl) but yeah its in the books and pre halo 1 is in the first book.

cmon gotta be intrested in something ^_~ oh but yeah did you buy the halo3 setup xbox their selling at CC here? its like the same as the premium one but decaled for H3 ~ yeah

that ending pissed me off i remember watching MC on that ship saying he was gonna finish the fight and my hand was still on the controller and like 10 sec into the credits i was still holding the controller wide eyed expecting the next lvl to come up...but it never happened.....and THAT is how i became the cynic i am today

from what you can read about halo3 by the time the game starts most of earth
has been destoryed all apart from one area of africa (where the ark is) so
maybe all the spartans are killed off

Yeah I played Halo1 and 2 ... pretty much shitty games tbh. Never had any satisfaction when completing. And well .... it's just pure over-hyped shit IMO.

story line and gameplay. and if you think that there shitty then am guessing

lol dodgy? and too futuristic...well it is sett 500 years into the future and
compared to some FPS games it has some sense of realism (keeps in its
own confines)

Yeah, it's a pretty good storyline.

Also, it's the covenant... COVENANT. Not covernent or whatever you said.

Warhammer 40k storyline is about a billion times better than halo too...

I kinda sound like a halo hater, but yeah that game seriously is badass. One of my favorites.

damn straight, wtf was that all about?

You just find out that there's like 50 rings, and then the story ends, and you STILL haven't destroyed the second one.

IMO I think halo was best off ending at the first one... But I'm still glad they're making more, because the game is still badass and the storyline is still good, I think it could have been better though.

The story in Halo 1 and Halo 2 were shitty and half assed. People got the game for the online multiplayer, end story. Halo 3, they spent tons on making the story line actually decent.

halo 1 didn't have live multiplayer......and alot of ppl actually enjoyed playing campaign with their friends

Ah, Halo. The most overrated series with a mediocre single player, rip-off story and great console multiplayer.
