360 is a joke system I rather get a good CPU and play the games with better GFX.

Right....360 current has better graphics then the PS3...JUST slightly better
but still better, PS3 graphics wont look better until a few years as developers
are still getting to grips with it.
also at the moment the PS3 has no good games out on it
where as the 360 has 3 years worth of games, a strong online community
and doesn't cost an over priced sum of $600

i don't see how sony fans can still say PS3 has better graphics when it hasn't shown that yet...developers for the PS2 didn't start using all of its graphic power until the end of its system life. Same as the PS. It'll be awhile before the graphics start looking noticeably better than the 360s IF they ever do at all....

anyway MGS is a good game...but i wonder if there will be a 5th one?

Satman is the opposite of a sony fanboy, so are a few others here. No matter what, they'll bash the ps3, doesn't matter what the subject is.

People can bash away at the Playstation 3 all they want.


It won't force me into disliking the Playstation 3 nor any of it's future games.


With games like Armored Core 4 and Metal Gear Solid 4 and Resident evil 5 on the horizon..

I can't wait to pick them up and start playing.

But patience is a virtue,a quality i have not completely mastered yet.

being it will have online play...lol i wonder what that would be like

AC4 alreayd came out on the 360...and i didn't like it i was expecting giant epic robot battles but mostly the game was just customizing your robt and them sending them to do a meaningless often times impossible task -_- maybe its just not the mech game for me...but it looked nice

All those games are aimed at hardcore people who like to nitpick over their bot and modify it. It's not a game for casual people really.

big fan of MGS, im going to buy PS3 just for MGS4, and i will also buy a new TV for my PS3 , a nice 40" LCD with 1080P FULL HD would suit nicely in my room

MGS is one of the best games I ever played.

MGS 2 was..... a impressive leap regarding graphics and gamplay elements but the story and especially the settings were.. yuck.

The story had some nice elements, but the whole Raiden BS and the president on the oil rigg blabla wasnt that interesting untill later in the game.

But then the game was over quick =.=

MGS 3 was very good imo, but it never got the MGS feeling back, the feeling MGS 1 had.

MGS for the GBC is pretty cool too! it even has a little radar in the corner of the screen and a VR mode!

Well you play as Raiden because he was chosen by the Patriots for the S3 project. Raiden's relationship to Solidus represents the relationship Solid has to Big Boss. Basically it was a project to see how they could control Jack aka Raiden. Rose was forced to lie to Raiden during the mission because they threatened to kill Jack if she didn't go along with it. But then again it's not like storlyine matters in a video game. Just as long as you get to play your favorite character Solid Snake.

I dont give a fck if I play snake or not, but Raiden just wasnt fit for the main playable role in my opinion. It annoyed me. The way he looked, the way he acted, the long conversations with Rose. The fact that they are long doesnt bother me, but the fact that they talk so much about things like their first date and their relationship annoyed me. It has a purpose, but they overdid it. The purpose Raiden has in the game is not bad too, but I was just annoyed by the character they choose for Raiden.

And hey, I dont feel like having a discussion on MGS in SRF, 1 I dont give a fck, 2 I am tired like I always am when I post here at night, 3 It has been over 4 years since I played MGS2 for the last time, so I cant recall everything from the entire story at the moment. I would have to play it again to remember everything. 4- You obviously think I dont know jack shit about the story, but hey actually I played it alot back then. All games of the MGS series. And why would you even care IF anyone would not understand the complete story? Stop defending the game.

yeah, just hope that the next final fantasy would be better than VII

i thought everyone knew that XII was going to be the last good final fantasy...yup after XII they will continue their downward spiral...

yeah final fantasy XIII is like FF X-2
but final fantasy XIII versus is better, its nice to play as the bad guy once in a while.

No it isn't worth going into details about, I was just very tired since my neighbours are reconstructing their house right below my bedroom window, and I almost havn't slept for two nights. I was pretty pissed of about that already. Also, I can take criticism, insults, but I have a hard time taking sarcasm like that.
