The way I see it, it's a skill(cleric) to res the person and boost their defense to keep them alive so that they wont die a few seconds later, at the cost of attack power. It seems like people use it when they're party grinding at monsters that can one-hit party members. Plus, it seems to be faster than a normal res.

I was kinda freaked out when someone did it to me the first time.

Well, it is a pretty nice skill to be done on a cleric.
Or does my healing power also reduce when using that buff ?

yellow/gold edges around the skillbar boxes. If you are actually playing legit (not using a bot like this dude does) you will see that the skillbox that you use will have yello/gold edges

He isn't using bot dudes.. The yellow box disappears 2 - 4 seconds after you press the skill, and I'm sure he used that skills 1 minute ago.

Those boxes go away after a few seconds, and the skills that were used have long cooldown times, so they're not going to be there.

You'll lose HP and MP when the buff is over.

EDIT:
That's on top of the fact that the 45% max HP increase goes away as well. It always looks like a lot when it happens to me.

I was in a mujiji party once and a cleric joined. I thought "well I can stop healing now..." but guess what, the dumbass just traced one of the guys in the party and turned on a bot that casted bless spell once in a while :banghead:

After a while we scrolled back to town and left him there to die (and he actually did -.-)
