So the scenario is this. I currently play in the Pluto server, really enjoyed it and decided to buy silk. After me and my friends spent between $30 - $50 (during a short period of about 2 weeks) my friends decided to join the new server coming out (Hera). We each bought our premiums and such and my question is this. I know that you get banned for requesting a cash back, but if you had already used a portion of your premium/ability pet etc, can you still request a cash back and receive all of what you paid back?

Thanks for any confirmation about this topic,

BanKai

Does that mean your past items like your premium money you'll get back?

You won't get your items back, just the money spent to buy it.

Sorry for not phrasing my questions better. I meant that if my premium had already finished (which mine hasn't) would it still be possible to get the money back for that? Thanks for the help

Basically you made a purchase for silk on that account. If you did a chargeback, your paypal or cc provider wont see what you spent the silk on (in game items) and as far as they are concerned, you made a purchase (of silk) to Joymax. A successful chargeback would render your account(s) banned, so it wont matter how you spent that silk, you would get a refund on the amount you spent for the total silk purchased according to your complaint.

Thank you very much, that cleared up a lot :)

One more quick question, if I did a successful chargeback, would Joymax also ban my paypal from purchasing silk again even if I used a different Silkroad account? I had a disccussion with my friend and I see his viewpoint on why they wouldn't (as you might just do another cashback etc), so I'm not sure.

Edit: Also, how do you request chargeback? is there a button or do you have to send an e-mail or what?

Thanks,

Bankai

Could anyone help answer these questions?

If I did a successful chargeback, would Joymax also ban my paypal from purchasing silk again even if I used a different Silkroad account? And how do you request a chargeback? is there a button or do you have to send an e-mail or what?

Sorry for double posting but the sooner I finally get this cleared the sooner I can keep playing SRO =]

Edit 2: Nevermind I saw on the silkroadonline.net forums that you could chargeback but I can't find out how =[. Does anyone know?

Thanks,

Bankai

I have the same question. Do you have to do it through your cc company or can you do it through paypal?

Anyone have any idea?

This would help a lot, I've done a search on chargebacking but it's rare to find one that actually tells you how.

Thanks,

Bankai

You have to mail or write the company you purchased your silk with explaining you made a mistake or anything and ask for a chargeback. I think it goes like this

Ok, thank you =]
I read that there was someway to do it over paypal, but I'm still not sure. Is the only option that I have going through my parents credit card company now?

Thanks for the information,

Bankai
