Silo, two words, opportunity cost. In order for a beggar to beg, he must have chosen to NOT do something else with his time. Like finding a job/getting paid. Nothing is free. Nothing. Everything must be worked for in some fashion or another.

i didnt have to pay for the money but someone did.

Maybe, but for you, you didn't pay anything, so it's free. For others who pay, maybe not. But still free is free, and it exists.

Wouldn't really say it's unintentional for the person to be wherever... I can sit at a bus stop on my way to campus, it's just an aspect of my own decisions to my final destination, not just random happenings...

and yes, being somewhere's a condition, however:

Say I'm walking on my way home and run into someone that gives an item for no materialistic trade. M'kay, yes ...that's "free" in terms of a materialistic exchange from both parties.

If, say I decided to go another route that I would never encountered said person, then one could say that the trade to receive that item was my decision to go that direction, not anything I currently had on my person.

I know what a trade is; It's an exchange of sorts (things not specified) for another's goods or services. I'm just giving the aspect of nothing's free, in a different light, of the exchange that the condition is met through choice so that the "trade" can take place... If the choices don't lead to the specific condition, the "trade," so to speak, wouldn't happen.

Don't mind the dribble, but the "decision to go a certain destination to meet a specific condition" makes it so an exchange, so to speak, happens.

So, Choice to condition in trade for good(s). Although, I'd expect you to say "not losing anything", again. I'd just say that the "lost item" is simply the other decisions not taken.

I personally just think it's a bit of an outward way of looking at it ...lol

You are simply trying to mix a condition and a trade into a same group. There is indeed a link between them but they are not one same thing. Being in place is a condition but it is not a trade. The decision of route you made is a part of "going go to work" (for example). Indeed you spent your energy to go to work, to be at a certain location. But's that only mean that you are trading (something) in order to go to work. And coincidently, you happen to be a condition to have the money, so it's not that you are trading your energy in order to have that money.

Another example of free is the Big Bang, the creation of the universe. By definition, before the creation of the first universe, there is nothing. So to speak, there is nothing you can trade in order to have the Big Bang. Yes, and it's called free.

no it isnt free. that infinitely dense ball of mass gave its energy. and it will come collecting again some day when it once again condenses.

nope, the universe is made after the big bang, you cannot trade something to something that didn't exist.

Once again..

Quote:
Thousands of dead turtle doves rained down on roofs and cars in an Italian town in the latest in a growing spate of mass animal deaths across the globe.
Residents in Faenza described the birds falling to the ground like 'little Christmas balls' with strange blue stains on their beaks.
Initial tests on up to 8,000 of the doves indicated that the blue stain could have been caused by poisoning or hypoxia.

Damned, damn it! when the mass deaths of animals is going to end!

Resulting in a mass death? No.. I don't agree.
However, there's definitely something fishy going on and more to the story than we're getting.

Nope. If something happens all the time, it won't be an interest of the newspapers. That's how it works.

Untrue, crime happens all the time, yet is all over the papers every day

Yes. But it's on local newspaper only, like a small report. People on forums don't bother to talk about it. You don't come here to discuss a local robbery or car accident, unless it has a big impact on the society.
