Hi everyone,

i'd like some advice for my char.
I thought I would get a brilliant nuker ( in know...) and now I reached lvl 30 and am greatly disapointed!

Details:

Cold Mastery: lvl 30
- Ice Jade force lvl 1
- Snow Storm ice shot lvl 1
- Cold Armor lvl 3

Lightning Mastery: lvl 30
- Grass-walk Flow lvl 4
- Wolf's thunderbolt lvl 1
- Heavens force lvl 2

Pacheon Mastery 19
- Anti deivl bow Missile lvl 8
- Mind concentration lvl 1

The char is wearing garment.
I thought I would be great and nuke every mob with a lower lvl away... very mistaken
Maybe I'm using the wrong combos?
Or should I rather learn Fire?

What would you do, if it was you char (and yes, im determined to keep it!).

Int chars with a bow are overall just not good at nuking. They can be seen as sword-nukers, without a shield and defensive passive´s. Getting ice even makes you a worse nuker as the nukes do less damage.

If you wanna continue with useing a bow with int, like you said, I suggest to add some points in str and becomeing hybrid. With 90% magical balance you still do more damage then a str char, have more hp to survive longer, and have higher crits. Ofcourse you should mainly focus on weapon skills then.. t

If you want you can still switch to a "normal" nuker, by getting pacheon to 20 (hawk+passive) and maybe delvl it when you are near the cap. Those 20 points in pacheon aren´t the end of the world..


P.s. I would do the `continue´ part, with going hybrid, mainly because I´m curious how strong it will be at higher lvls ^^[/u]

I just don't know anything about Spears.

And as I said: I could learn fire.

I have no experience with higher lvls .. anyone else?

I've been told to take the Soul-Spear Technike.
What are you experiences?
Which Technike i should learn?

Bow is not that good for nuking. Has lower dmg than spear and lower defense than sword.
If I were you I would go to Spear or Sword. Delevel the pacheon skills when you get near the cap. I think the nuker should be fire and lightning. Lightning for the good buffs and the lion shout and fire for the nukes.
P.S. if you use lightning nuke you will suffer getting swarmed.

The only skill I use from spear is now the lvl 19 Ghost Spear. It helps for finishing the monsters. I don't think more than 20 lvls of spear is worth spending on.

I wonder if there is any list or something alike that shows how much damage each skill makes.

if you wanna be PURE int, you will hardly use weapon skills at higher lvls.. some take the first vew of heuksel just to get to 30, when they can nuke. At lower lvls weapon skills might seem to give good damage, but it gets less as your lvl increases.

The only weapon skill that is worth thinking about is Knockdown+stab.. but you need lvl 19 bicheon for that (68 if you want to stab twice)

everyone else:
u know how u cannot activate 'ice river force' and 'fire river force' together? would u know if u can use 'any of these two with a Weapon technique like 'wolf bite spear'; ie. 'ice river force' and 'wolf bite spear'? does the damage add to each other?

also while we're at this, is it possible to cast 'force guard series' and 'wind walk series' skills together?

i guess i could wait till i level to 20 (i'm level 13 now) and then de-learn the unnecesary skills. but i hear it costs gold? it's so impossibly hard to earn a decent amount! =p

I've been told that spells wich improve damage on you weapon can't be combined.
You have to choose which you want.

for an easy to play and hard hitting nuker...just do something close to what i did...be a hybrid. they way i did it is not very hard all u do is add all 3 points into str to lvl 5 then after that add all into int. use spear /sword shield if u have funds (sword and shield only for higher lvl mobs that you cant 1 hit). i would suggets for the build (based on lvl 80 cap) 71 fire 71 light 60 spear 60 ice and 30 force (for harmony therapy which is good for nukers and it helps until black robbers) useful for semi-sp farming if u dont want to farm it all at lvl 16.

First of all you do much lower damage if you have lightning+fire lower then your lvl. Because your skills won't be maxed, and each lvl that you up a mastery's lvl the damage with skills in that mastery's increases with 1%.. a total of 9% less damage will thus be lost. 30 force is basically pure crap if you want it for harmony therapy. The mobs that it stops are lvl dependant.. meaning if you have it at 30 it will only prevent lvl 32 mobs from attacking.. as you said it will help till Black Robbers, and I asume you will be fighting different mobs at higher lvls =p

The rest what you said seems ok, 2 mastery's for damage and such (fire + lightning) and 2 to prevent you'll be laying on the ground to much. But I suggest to use those 30 mastery's on force to max out fire+light, and make sure you have enough mastery points to spare when the cap becomes 90 someday (like ksro has now)


You cannot cast 2 imbues (ice river force+fire river force) at the same time.. but you can with all other skills. For example wind walk series and frost guard And yes you can combine an imbue with a weapon skill, such as wolf bite spear.. making you deal more damage then just one of them

nukers are magic intensive...

250 MP fire imbue (book 2 lvl 4?) + 350 MP fire arrow (lvl 1) + 117 MP Lion Shout = 700+ MP per monster

i'm trying to 1 hit killl monsters...i'm using a 35+3 sword on flowers. if i get lucky (50% of the time) i can kill in one hit with wolf thunderbolt (lvl 2) + fire imbue (400mp + 250 mp = 650 mp = 2 pots) for ~ 1850 damage

if i have a spear 35+3 or 4 i might be able to 1 hit fire arrow nuke

but then again my build is pretty whacked. i hate walking and instead, i just stick to a bow and killl in one imbue (6-7 hits of fire imbue = 250mp @ about 275 damage a hit = 1650 + wolf's 300 (2x150)
