hey, i'm new and i have a lvl 18 bow with 9 crit, +2 int and +2 str. I have 2 weapon elixirs and was just wondering if trying to fuse them could drop my stats or extra blue stuff. All i need is the weapon elixir and lucky powder to do it right, and i have 9 tries? Sorry for the scatter thoughts but the whole sos and +1, +2, +3 thing confuses me. I see regular weapons with better stats then sos or +2 items.

I don't think it can drop your blue stats away, but if the first elixir makes your weapon +1, the second could make +0 if it fails

You have 2 tries, one per elixir :) And yes, it is better to use lucky powder (be sure that the lucky powder you buy is the same degree as your weapon or gear)

AFAIK, the two types of alchemy (new and old) are completely separate. I've never even heard of someone losing a +x while alchemying stats, and vice versa.

Incidentally, I wouldn't use weapon elix on a base 18 bow. You could sell off the two weapon elix and buy an 18+3, and have a good bit of money left over to spare. Which is better than the best possibility if you use the elix, an 18+2 with no extra money.

Just my 2 cents.

Created an phys DEF booster stone for my shield today. Used it and it lowered my phys DEF by .7. I love wasting elements.

nope. if you fail an alchemy only that type of alchemy would fail....like lets say you try to up your critical on a +4 100%strenght increase weapon, only the blues would fail.and if you try to +s that same weapon and it fails, it wont take your 100% strenght increase :)

EASY WAY:

Tablets=Blue

Elixirs=Plus

both alchemys dont interact with each other :D hope you understood better now 8) :D :D :D
