I just got back from the first stop of the "Rockstar Mayhem Tour" that's going on throughout the US. For any of you have heard of this, and for those of you who haven't, I will say one thing; if you have the chance to go to this, GO! Not for the unknown scream bands, not for Mastadon, not for Slipknot, not even for Dragonforce, but for Disturbed. Seriously, most amazing concert I have ever been to in my life (and I've been to A LOT). If you don't know Disturbed, now's a good time to learn. They're a metal band that has a very powerful lead vocalist, of whom you can actually
understand! His lyrics are epic, and the band songs them selves are even more epic. Even though the title says "Disturbed/Dragonforce" review, I'm not even going to bother reviewing Dragonforces performance (don't get me wrong, I love Dragonforce, they just don't sound too hot live). Disturbed on the otherhand, left me thinking "$60 WELL spent!" plus so much more.
As a side note, Disturbed also has what I think to be the coolest mascot EVER for a band. Here are a couple shirts and a hoodie I got my hands on:
Final Conclusion: If you like Disturbed, go to this concert. If you like Metal, go to this concert. If you like seeing a lot of hot goth chicks dressed for Slipknot, go to this concert. If you have ANY taste in music, go to this concert.
