I guess that's ok at least you're above the value shown on the site below
http://stud3.tuwien.ac.at/~e0125557/sro/spgain.html
Although some hardcore farmers can get 30k and above sp's before leaving lvl16 man! Can't imagine myself doing that LOL!
I'm also am pure str I have (as of this posting) have 8100 sp @ lvl16 (not much compared to others though)... probably get a good bow and sp farm @ mobs that you can kill in the shortest amount of time (of course mobs that gives you decent sp's)... hmmm, I also did some deleveling around lvl14-15 (twice) and lvl16-17

when you say delevel, that basically means get killed right? also how many times do you kill yourself to drop a level? that takes a while doesnt it?

I think we loose (est) 2% exp everytime we die... Lance wrote: mmm, am at lvl 15 with 825sp atm lol, sucks mmm, say i lvled up to 16, equiped my bow, then de-leveled, could i still equip my bow
nopes... your equips are dependent on your lvl... the only thing you retain is the atk power (physical and magic) when you delvl... assuming that you used the exp points on either str or int when you lvled before you delvled.

noobielike wrote: then how do you know when u have enough sp to stop sp farming? is it true tat u must have like 20k to 30k sp before u can like keep o lvl gap through out?
I think the decision on how much is enough is on the player although alot of people say getting 20 - 30k sp is great - at least what that value you can maintain a low lvl gap until higher levels. You can check-out the SP Calc and decide when is best
Hmm, I need 164,597 SP's! LOL!

This is only the case if you unequip the bow before or after de-level. Any equipment item that you leave equiped when de-leveling will not be unequiped automatically. So at lvl 15 you can still use a lvl 16 bow, just make sure not to unequip the item(s)

Hmm, not sure... how much SP are you targetting at what lvl for the 20k? I placed my SP farming plan in the hyperlink below (dunno if it's any good though LOL!)

damn 20k = 20,000 right? thats a lot of farming, i only got like 4,000 sp at lvl 15, and i dont know how much more framing i can take.

if u can manage to farm this amt early, u can lvl faster at later lvl as you have enough sp to allow u to haf a small lvl gap while others need to farm for sp to learn skills

yea thats true, so i guess i have to keep de-leveling myself to keep the high sp rate from archers?

actually i don't see the pt in de-lvling.why deprive urself of the lvl u deserve?in my opinion, there is also a new creature tat will mop for u to sp farming for each lvl u raise.issit moving on to places of higher lvl of aggro creatures giving u more sp exp than bandit archers?

The reason for deleveling is being able to attack at the level you leveled from, lvl18 but deleveled to lvl16, your hp and sp will reset back to lvl16 level though... since you attack like a lvl18 (and some say you can still wear your lvl18 items even though you deleveled - I'm yet to try this though) you'll be able to kill the mobs you regularly kill when you were lvl16 but at a faster rate... and at lvl16 you can also pawn those mobs that you can take-out @ lvl18 so this usually equates to a higher rate of sp farming
Having the SP's saved at a lower level usually equates to a skill friendlier build when you're at higher levels, since you have the SP's to spare... and besides if you have enough SP you can shorten your gap, get the skills you need to kill mobs and level fast when you decide to stop sp farming and start serious leveling.

noobielike wrote: but how much is enough to stop farming?and when u mean stop farming does tat mean tat u stop forever or u jus stop until u r short of sp and then start farming again later in the game?
Basically whatever you do you'll get sp hehehe it's how big or small the amount you'll get (coz of the level gap). Probably check-out the sp calculator and plan how many sp's you'd want to get at a certain level... then decide when and what to do
Example: (might be flawed logic and computation LOL!)
The SP Calc showed me that I'd need 173,097sps + by lvl70 for the basic build that i'm doing and that's alot... i'm only at lvl16 and only 8800sp's... but my dream build would amount to an incredible 265,329sp... dunno how in the world i'll get that amount of sp without a ticket... infact i dunno how i'll reach lvl70 without a ticket LOL!
Looking at the sp amount... since I have 8800sp already... if i target 173097sp... and if i get 1000sp per day... it'll result to me doing 164.297 days of grinding 5-6 months (aprox)... if I target my dream sp count... it'll take me over 8 months to farm 200+K sps...
Given those figures... I'd need to decide if I wanna have a life or not... LOL! it's still a game and it's not a job... so to break the cycle i'll just place some target sp's along the way as I level probably a mixture of sp farming then breaking the level gap to level then going back to sp farming again (just like the link I've posted in my previous post about my sp farming plan)
I know my plan aint perfect, I dunno if ever I'll reach that goal but important thing is... I'm enjoying SRO that's what matters

yea man i've been farming and only have about 7,000 sp. im not sure how much more of it i can take. i've read somewhere else that if you farm 8-10k, then you can go the rest of the game to lvl 70 with a 5 level gap, and be good. is this right?

I never farmed really.. I'm at lv 38.. Almost 39.. I used the caculator and I have 12,000 SP... I AM however currently keeping a 3 lv gap.. so i can gain decent SP as I lv.. It's a painstaking process, but I want to LVL and gain SP... So for ME the best balance to do both is to lvl up.. then lvl my mastery within 1... then keep lvling till my mastery has a 5 gap.. then close it to 1 again.. I've been doing this for a while.. it seems to have decent SP.. and I have a pretty strong build now

actually i heard tat if u keep a 3 lvl gap thru out the game, u will have enough sp thru out.but i also heard tat its better to farm early so tat lvling in later game will be easier.
