I dont know if going beyond 9 gap will reduce your exp while still gaining the max sp, i would like to find out that too. And about the best mobs to lvl with max gaining sp would be 11 lvl higher than your lvl, 13 will make you gain less, but i would like to find the best lvl mobs to grind to lvl the growth pet with max gaining exp, i think its grinding at mobs 10 lvl higher than pet lvl, but can someone confirm this.

well actually I think its 10 gap for most xp or sp:

-no the xp doesn't go down beyond a 9 gap

today I pfarmed my low lvl (with a full 9 skill gap) at ongs and at lvl 23 (11gap) vs lvl 34s I got 927 sp points per kill, then when I lvled up to lvl 24 (10 gap) I got 952 sp points per kill, so I think the perfect gap is actually 10

Obviously everyone knows that the higher the gap between your highest mastery and your character level, the less xp you gain and more sp you gain up to a 9 gap. We know you don't get any more sp beyond a 9 gap... but I've heard, you still lose xp beyond a 9 gap. Which would be perfect for power-farming, a lot less de-leveling! Is anyone certain about this issue? and also the best level gap between your character and the mob you are being power-leveled/farmed on is usually known to be 11, but I hear you can go even farther up to 13. :?: :? :?:

It's not about getting more sp than exp, well, you do gain slightly more. But it's more about getting more sp per lvl. I remember on my Rogue at 54, masteries at 47, I only gained about 200 sp exp more than when I was 0 Gapping.

Doesn't help. When my buddy and I farmed 1.6m, he kept his masteries at 0, while I kept mine at 10. Our lvling speeds were pretty much the same.

wrong
at lvl 24 u get the highest xp/sp exp amount from ongs, it's not because u had 10 gap lol

The sweet spot for maximum exp when power leveling is 10 level difference between monster and noob, not 11.

Power leveld my noob to 70 and exp was less on 9 level difference and 11 level difference monsters the highest exp was when monster was 10 levels above level of my noob.

Dont belive everything you read on these forums.

I didn't read the whole thing. But there were many wrong here n there.

FACTS:
1) Max sp gain = 9 gap. Anything beyong that won't change your spexp/exp gain. Thats as far as you can go. 10, 11, 12 or anything above. U get the same.

2) Max exp/spexp gain from mobs are when they are 10 lvl diff from your noob's lvl. NOT 11. Whoever said 11 go test it again.

3) Exp/spexp gain differ as lvl average in pt cahnge.

4) PT mob gives more exp when theres more pt members normal mobs give less exp when theres more pt member. and vice versa. Less pt member = more exp on normal mobs.

all about wether 9 10 11 13 gap is the best to plvl...

ongs you can do like 16-26 why does it matter what exp and what sp you get at what lvl, you just kill until u get to 26-27 or w.e and dlvl. if your farming sp dont worry about the sp you get as i can assure you if you waste your time keep going back to 23 or 24 or w.e then its a slower process

Was that with a Euro or Chinese? When I first started here and Euro was 3 months old, we didn't know everything about gapping, etc.

So I went out and tested briefly on some monsters. When I had a 12/13 level gap, I got the best exp gain; when I moved to a 14 gap, the exp dropped. 12/13 were the same XP gain. 11 dropped the xp by one per kill.

Keep in mind: That was at level 23-24 or so, fighting only a small subset of monsters on the Euro side, and I was only using one character. Who knows if clerics, warriors, rogues, etc get EXACTLY the same amount of xp per kill - they should - but those were my observations. For all I know, I was getting xxx.6 and the game was rounding up; for yyy.4 it may have rounded down, thus the 1 xp difference.

is that why some people put a lvl 1 char in their party? to lower the average lvl? do you get more sp/xp? :O and does that lvl 1 have to be within range of the pt?

slimshady wrote:
yes lots of people dont know the 2x exp for party mobs.

Ex. Lvl 80 powerleveling at lvl 57 Sonars

Party
80
45
43
44
51
46
49
41

To find the average level take 80+45+43+44+51+46+49+41 = 399

Divide the 399 by the number of people in the party (8) = 49

49 is the average level of the party members.

If the average level (49) is lower than the monsters you are fighting (57) you get 2x EXP/SP when a party monster is killed.

So if your average level is 46, you will be getting the most exp that you can from those monsters.

^Its not exactly 2x ... You will get more exp / sp if the party is like this

To find the average level take 80+45+1+1+1+1+1+1 = 131

Divide the 131 by the number of people in the party (8) = 16

16 is the average level of the party members.

If the average level (16) is lower than the monsters you are fighting (57).

Just a note too ... Europeans get more exp and sp from mobs.

Another fact, the max spexp u can get from a Party Monster is ~10k spexp. I forgot the exact. Which means 25SP per PT monster. Yes not champion not giant. Just a normal PT monster.

The above value is when you have SPGT + GT + 10% Academy BUFF.

Those who hasn't got that go test it more. till you get it.

Max SP i got from 3 hours session = 45k SP.

For those who think its impossible go test it. U can choose not to believe but if you are farming, i recommend you get it right as it will safe you tons of time.

here's the plvl scenario that you should aim for:

-player being plvled is 10 lvls lower than monster.(either farm or lvling)

-average lvl of party is lower than the monster so you get double xp and sp.(depending on who you're trying to lvl...add lvl1s or w/e)

-lots of party mobs spawn for that particular monster, and no ksers around.

-obviously wiz or nuker would be best high lvl to use but thats not really relevant.

-oh and obviously clear area with no obstacles like tree etc.
