I am lvl 42 and i have 3000 skill points and i was using only fire and only lvl 13 lightning for grasswalk. I was reading pure str fire guid and with cold you are th best tanker but with lightning you give more dmg. So what should i go with? :D

People get ice for buffs, but you should lvl up lightning more for a faster grasswalk.

As a glaiver, you should be killing your mobs fairly fast, without taking too much damage. At this point, I think you should get Lightning up for Grasswalk, in order to shorten your time running between mobs. It can help speed up your grinding by a lot, and also help you with PvP somewhat. Later, when you have sp leftover, you can get the cold buffs.

if you want the cold buffs, but can't live without some kind of grasswalk(i know i can't), you should at least lvl light to 12 just to get the first book. that one alone gives you a 20% increase in speed. the following levels aren't nearly as good. you can only level the skill once every three levels, and it only gives 3% extra boost each time.

so basically, you have two level a mastery and a skill on every level to get 1% speed boost. doesn't sound like it's THAT worth to keep leveling it just for that. just keep it at 13 where you've got it and go for cold IMO.

and as for part of your first post, you said something about lightning giving you more damage? i was under the inpression that you were going to continue using the fire imbue, and just use buffs from your secondary tree. if that's the case, lightning will NOT give you more damage, since it has no damage increasing buffs.

light is a must for grass walk, i dont think i could function with out my grass walk. You can always get ice buffs later.
