Ok, I've been reading a lot and I still have a lot of questions.
I'm lvl 25 with 9 lvl gap. I've already de-lvled once. I have 20k SP or so. I'm a Rogue with Cleric sub. I need something along the lines of 900k SP in order to 0 gap to lvl 90.
A friend is plvling me and some other people my lvl at the Ongs. We have a really nice spot, with lots of pt Ongs. The plvler is lv 82 Rogue and kicks Ong buttocks. So here are my questions:
1) What is the best number of people in the party, other than the plvler, to get maximum SP?
2) Is it best to farm SP from 20-25, delvl, and repeat, until I have my 800k+ SP?
2.1) Or is it better to farm enough SP to 0 gap to a certain lvl, use curst hearts to regain 9 gap, and SP farm at that lvl?

Thanks for any help you can offer. I'll have more questions soon, I just can't think of them all atm. :)

1)number of ppl in party doesn't matter, its their lvls. The lower the better, jus make sure u lower the average pt lvl below ongs' lvl. (33)

2)its better to farm 20-26 and delvl then and so on. Farm at ongs coz u will never find a better place at any other mobs

Is the caves really good, for real? Or are you being sarcastic? I thought caves had plvlers abundant...

Doesnt matter really, it depends on your level, and the more of low levels you have in party, more exp you will get ... meaning - try to put lv.1 into parties, and kick them when they are 15-16, get them as much as you can
2) Is it best to farm SP from 20-25, delvl, and repeat, until I have my 800k+ SP?
I've done ... deleveling to 19 and 0%, and going to 26 ... or whenever I noticed exp goes under 1200 sp per pt mob
2.1) Or is it better to farm enough SP to 0 gap to a certain lvl, use curst hearts to regain 9 gap, and SP farm at that lvl?
Farm eveything at ongs

Thanks for any help you can offer. I'll have more questions soon, I just can't think of them all atm. :)

I've got 38k SP so far. There is no way I'll have the patience to keep farming. I'm going to level up and when I hit my 50's or maybe 60's I'll just buy the 290 silk premium if I'm hurting for SP...

another tip, did u substract the SP u get from lvling to 90 with a 0 gap ? That could mean a difference of like 200k farming less

u rly should just stick with the ong farming.. u need 800k+ sp -the 38 is 762k+, take off 200 from lvling, you still need to farm 500K+. and farming at higher lvls isnt going to be faster than pfarming.

Sorry to hijack this thread but how do you guys calculate from 30 to 90, 0 gap? Or do you guys just see the difference after 60 levels

I'm trying to find out how much SP I'll get if I did 30 to 90 on 5 gap :)

That will be hard in any server I beleive. The hills are filled with botting wizards, doing what they do best killing fast thus gains more exp per hour for thier noobs. Thing is most of this characters are plvling academy members to 40 so they get honor points, the char is then deleted and restarted. I gave up on ongs for my alt, a bard/cleric, I do not have the patience as a legit to kill hours trying to ks a wizard that can two shot a party gaint in zerk. I am just gonna level her up and grind her at share parties and pray for a sun drop, will take longer, but I am legit everything takes longer so I dont care. lol

There have been many discussions on if farming at lower lvls is better, or if farming at higher lvls is better. Yes pre-euro was different, people farmed at 16 with a bow at the den, that no longer exists. Yes ongs is faster per hour of exp gain,IF you can find a open spot.

On a last note, the price of gear increases exponentially with level. If you are leveling at extreme speeds you do not have the time to make money, especially if you never open a stall. This is why some people purchase gold, but it doesnt have to be so. This reason I beleive that a first timer should always farm at higher lvls, it allows you to slowly gain levels and game experience to be able to be the best char at top completley legit without botting or buying gold. With FW and no mercs there is no reason any guild would want a char that is lvl 22 for months and months when they can use that slot for a capped char even if it is unfarmed.

Dude if your lacking patience already theres no way you'll be able to farm/lvl up at high lvls....I got 35k sp in 24 hours...all I had to do was just check in on my char every 30 mins or so during the day and then 'd go afk again...
It's not really that hard at all...unless you've gotten pfarmed 300k+ sp then t'd be hard = p

That's really nice. I get about 5k SP in 4 hours or so. I could hit what you got probably. But my friends lvl 7x nuker keeps getting KSed.
If we could just find a spot to plvl without getting KSed by wizzies we'd be set.

How much SP do you need? If you don't know go here and complete your build and see how much SP you need for your build. 'Cause if you 9 gapped all the way to 90 from 25, you'd have a bit over 4.2million SP. I don't recommend farming since it takes away the essence of being a video game. I see how much of a gap I'd need to get the SP I need for a certain build. If you want to 9 gap to get the most SP per level, you'd just have to 9 gap to 65, then you could 0 gap to 90 and still be able to have over 1million SP.
25-65 at a 9 gap = 962,455 SP
65-90 at a 0 gap = 174,420 SP.
So you can see that you'd have well over 1million SP by the time you're at level 90. And you wouldn't need to farm a bit (which is always something that people love to hear)

9gap from 25-65 would take soo f'n long, probly longer then farming 500k sp at lvl 25 + getting plvled to 90.

Yeah it would. :(
Sounds great though.... too bad it's not...

Lvling and delvling so many times is so boring for a video game. I should go play guild wars...

I don't mean to complain, but this is a crazy amount of grinding/farming/plvling for an mmorpg imho.

wasn't it the more level 1-10 chars there are in your party the more sp?
so having 1 char that powerlevels and 1 sp farmed and rest of the party full with level 1 to 10 chars should give you the best exp/sp.

Second question depends on server if your server has spots left at ongs then go for it.

Keyson if you don`t have the patience for powerlevel sp farm you wont have it for later level farm and the later the harder/slower you will get sp.

It's best if your plvler is 5x. And get a few lvl 20s - 21s in your party.
Once I was lvld by a 82 wiz and only got around 500 sp exp from one pt ong, but when I was lvld by a 52 wiz I got 1.3k sp exp.
