Well i'm new to the game. Dont take my word for it.. but mage/priest, rogue/scout, warrior/rogue all seem quite popular. It always depends on what style you like though.

best builds:

mage/priest - pvp + pve dps
warrior/scout - pvp only
priest/knight - healing
knight/priest - tanking
rogue/warrior - pve dps

Could someone post a clear mini guide on how to use the arcane transmutor thing?

On the forums there are way to many of them and they tend to contradict each other. Thus a high lvl who has some experience with them for information would be nice for a nub like me.

Been playing rather steadily but slowed down, foolin around now. Want to start doing crafting, but no clue which crafting to concentrate one, i really want to just stick to 2. Any tips on that?

wow, many people got hooked into this game huh?...

I'm back from break (was in Spain yay), and I'm gonna start playing RoM again. Since all of you are decided to go to Krynn, I guess I will go with the flow and continue to play on my very first char ever made on RoM, my mage/priest (should be lvl26). I'm kinda sad though, leaving behind 2 high chars (34 warrior/rogue and a lvl30 knight/priest) in Osha.

Also was reading RoMs forums and discovered that they have a nice table for combining runes to get other runes (I wasted a couple doing experiments myself first couple of days in OB). You guys should check that out it helps a lot.

@dom: nice video of mage, that's exactly how i grinded my mage a while back. 2 flames + fireball do the job. For the priest I lvl differently, I use the skill that looks like a rope (cant remember name) to lvl up followed by fireball. I think it's more efficient that way. Rope gets mob down to around 1/4 of hp and then fireball to finish up.

@Sharp: say your 2 classes, then I can give you some tips on to what craft proffession to choose.
