Alright I need some help first of all. I need response from warlock users; for a hybrid warlock would it be to much if I went from lvl 30 STR and than from 31-90 INT would that be fine or is that to much str? and less INT?

That's 30 str/60 int, that would make you a 1:2 hybrid doesn't it? Seems a bit too much for a lock. Try something like 1:5 or 1:7

yeah.
euro hybrids only get the benefit of ++ health (or int) from being hybrid considering their weapons only do phy (or mag) attk.

Ya but if people get a lucky crit in the first hit (on like the 4th ghost spear)...Pure int's are dead as stated in other warlock topics. Being able to survive 1hit does increase your chance of winning, even if you give up a bit of magical attack. But 1:2 is just too much.

well 29 str means in the end about 1:2 hybrid which is waaaaay to hybrid for a lock (or any other int char) if you ask me.

If u keep putting on str, u can be a warrior/lock or rogue/lock instead.

Lol 30str = 10 levels of str so it would be 8:1 hybrid which is good for warlock :)

Agreed, you don't need massive INT to kill like wizards do, at least in pvp. If someone 1) can't pot 2) takes 150% damage 3) gets repeatedly stunned and kbed 4) does 40% less damage 5) gets dulled and moves twice as slow and 6) can't even move due to sleep trap, then chances are that you can add in STR for hp/def and still get away with winning every pvp even with weaker nukes.

Pve is a whole different story. If your focus is exp partying and soloing then by all means go pure INT.

Trying to persuade people that both pure int and hybrids are good choices :)

They are dead anyway.

Who are you referring to? :? If you're referring to a hybrid being dead after the second hit, that's probably true; what INT can survive massive hits, anyways? However there is a reason that locks have a unique ability to come back from the brink of death (ie. Stun), so long as you can take 13,999 damage and have 1 HP left over. Escaping death with double digit HP and turning the duel around has personally happened to me plenty of times.

Warlocks are that kind of characters you have to know how to play with it. If player sucks though his char is good he is good as dead against chinese player. But if player knows what he is doing warlock can be scary opponent. There are only few good warlocks out there cos mostly they are turks which means they can't play.
