Finished the game several times already, solo and co-op. Mercenary mode is tons of fun, especially with a friend. Curious about the upcoming DLC. Grimjaw wrote: Oh, and Excella Gionne > All. I hated her guts from the moment I saw her.

And that's why I liked her character so much, there are enough female saints in the Resident Evil Universe so it was nice to see someone besides Ada Wong playing the female antagonist/mystery role.

I'm really disappointed with this =[ I played the demo and I love the graphics and everything, but game play is just to boring.

Demo was a 2007 build, that says enough.

I played until late last night with my German buddy. He's a killer with the PSG-1 and the Hydra shotty. We both got into the game pretty well, managed to get A and S Rank on most of the missions. Still died a couple of times by Lickers and Reapers though.
Upgraded most of the weapons, bustling with trophy's ATM. We can't wait for professional mode which we will try to tackle without inf ammo. I'm more of a solo player though, but co-op is pretty cool if you got somebody you can depend on.

I love how you can really work together as a team, help each other out and whatnot, a really great feature of the game, and I hope to see it in upcoming RE games. I do recommend playing solo for the first time if you care about the story. Then play the co-op mode with a decent person who doesn't only think of him/herself. The guy I played it with, I know him for years, we got each others back and shared ammo and health sprays when needed, awesome teamwork.

It partially depends on you're partner though, they can help make the game more fun or ruin it completely. I've read stories on other websites where people are left to fend for themselves against hordes of enemies or leaving them stranded somewhere. Best thing is indeed to play the game with someone you know very well, so they don't give out on you or leave you to fend for yourself. Playing solo is what most people tend to do when they first start a game I believe. As for myself: I tend to look in every cranny, street, and behind every box hoping to find something we could use. I also like reading the documents scattered around the game as well.

It's pretty dam close to the real game I'm sure like mot demos are. I just don't like the shooting style in this one is all.

I also like reading the documents scattered around the game as well. About the DLC (which has been delayed), it's sort of a multiplayer pack from what I've read. It'll have several modes, Slayers, Survivors, Team Slayers, Team Survivors and Versus. I have not found any detailed information about it, but Team Survivors reminds me of Resident Evil: Outbreak and Jim playing possum. I also read something about a 'surprise for PS3 owners', but nothing detailed about that either. The DLC does come with trophies/achievements: - The Team That Slays Together...
Win 30 matches in Team Slayers. - We Will Survive
Win 30 matches in Team Survivors. - Bringing the Pain
Defeat 100 players using physical attacks in Versus. - Army of One
Win 30 matches in Slayers. - Eye of the Tiger
Win 30 matches in Survivors. - Keep the Good Times Rolling
Chain a 20-defeated combo in Slayers. - It Takes Two to Tango
Chain a 40-defeated combo in Team Slayers. - It's All About the Points
Score at least 40,000 points in Survivors. - There's no "I" in Team
Score at least 80,000 points in Team Survivors. - Let's Get This Party Started!
Unlock all selectable characters in Versus.

About the DLC: I'm not surprised it's all about the Multiplayer part. But still they could have implemented some single player parts. Perhaps some extra inventory slots? New costumes? Upgradeable new weapons? New outfits? Play as bosses? Gosh, play as Jill Valentine? God I would love that.. But I guess that's just me being greedy.. But we still have to thank you for going out of you're way for this information Ru, thank you for you're work. vietxboy911 wrote: Well I played this game today at my cousin's house, and i've got to say, i loved it. Its like an enhanced RE4 with better features ( compared to Wii's RE4 ) Great gameplay, esp. with co-op. If you have an person who would play with you, its a great deal more fun than by yourself, which is a +. Waiting for it for pc... I know right! It's so awesome I can't stop playing it. Haven't touched another game since. I guess I'm hooked on the mercenaries and the pro difficulty mode.

If your going to not buy the game, and keep posting in this topic about how you want this game SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much ( as do i ) and you can buy the game, and will, but wont, then quit posting in SRF, buy the game, and at least enjoy it, while im here doing nothing. Go buy it now.

But we still have to thank you for going out of you're way for this information Ru, thank you for you're work. Don't mention it, I was eager to find out myself. If I'm not mistaken, Versus will be released on April 9, $5 for PS3, 400 MP for 360. I agree with your ideas about the single player parts. Not necessarily inventory slots or upgradable/new weapons (Except giving us the Samurai Edge for single player), but I'd definitely like the ability to play with other characters. Jill would be cool too, she was a great character. Then again, I don't give it much chance that we'll ever get such DLC. A "Seperate Ways", like Ada's in RE4 would be cool too. If they do this, I give Jill the greatest chance to play a role in it. If Team Survivors is like Resident Evil: Outbreak (which I so hope), there is a chance we'd get to play different RE5 characters, as I doubt they'll invent complete new characters just for the DLC. I'd miss Jim Chapman though cuz it was so totally awesome how he could play dead and rarely be attacked. CrimsonNuker wrote: Aghhh im convinced to buy this game, but im not just as sold yet. If you get the game for the 360, we'll play co-op mode, and you get to sit on the raft.
