I think they met in alpha or something. So maybe thats when it regualrly opened.

ok, I'm almost 100% certain that those pics come from the opening of a new server, I have seen them before. See all of the newbies? thats people from other servers playing on the new one because thiers wasn't up yet.

and moogie and dem met on another game, planeshift, before eventually moving to sro.

edit I stand partially corrected, it was all players creating new characters, but for a different reason.

I remember that second picture. I was on when someone yelled out about Legolas. If you look real close at the crowd, you can also see yoxoyo and Asa.

Those images are from when all characters on Xian (the only server at the time) got wiped for the next round of Beta.

Me and Dem met some years ago in PlaneShift, as moley said. We liked to drift around different games, and happened to try Silkroad and we liked it.

We were always leveling together. It was quite rare to see us apart. Sometimes complete strangers would see one of us and ask why we were alone.

17 january? charaters wiped ou of beta ?? explain me again cause i played sro way before xmas event and only wipe out that existed was some days before that event... i can only understand this if its 17 january of 2005 -.-

I should point out that the date you submit a screenshot to the forum is not necessarily the date you took the screenshot.

My screenshot, as you can see in the filename, is dated "SRO2005-11-09".

I started in Jan I think, really great game at that point, also remember my first event..monster mash, really awesome, was grinding at chajkis and this 52(!) I was like omg that person has to have been playing for half a year or something, he summoned a monster scroll and invited me to share pt, I ganied 18% and was really happy to out lvl my guildmates in WifeBeaters;p

grinded with some people, that I remember from like tiger quest, sp00ky from Xlaw just an example think his 64-70. Also found a random screenshot in jangan, and next to me is Wipeur a lvl 70 that became a close guildmate about 6months later.
