They play so dirty, standing on ankles all the time, falling dramaticcaly every time they feel a hand near them or see a foot of an opponent they can run against.

If De Rossi didn't dive there's no penalty. He could've easily stayed on his feet, he wasn't in position for a header, he was just falling to bait a PK which the ref fell for. Yeah, they'll probably act their way to finals again.

It's the refs. In Germany vs. Australia 2 yellows were given out for intentional diving and both of those weren't nearly as bad as Italy's bullshit. Refs just need to be more strict with this.
