 Post subject: How do i burn .avi files to a dvd?

Hey im trying to put some .avi files on a dvd, so i can watch it on my tv. Whenever i try to copy them onto the dvd from my computer it has an error. Help please as i really want to put these videos onto dvd!

your dvd player might not be compatible with avi's =/
I know ours isn't.

Just use Nero or w/e program is installed on your computer to burn things
