Okay, I understand that skill farming is a slow way of leveling, but you get more skill points which you can use to level up your masteries. Can someone give me a guide on how to do it(I know it takes a lot of time, but I've played many mmorpgs so this isn't gonna throw me off of the game)

Also, I heard that chinese builds are better at skill farming, so I want to be Chinese. Which build is the best to skill farm with? I was looking at at the Glaive class, because they are strong and have a lot of health. I'd prefer to have a build that can kill quickly, and skill farm the most efficiently, so if you can give me a good skill farming build, their stats and which masteries I should put points into, that'd be greatly appreciated.

I don't want to screw up on my first character, although that will probably happen anyhow >_>

well, the fastes chinese lvler/killer is a INT nuker, either spear or s/s (sword/shield) with spear u take Heukskill which inc. HP and with s/s u have more defense (due to shield) But i wont get into that, u asked on farming so i will do my best to explain.

--------------ONG Farming--------------

This is the fastest way in farming SP. You need a high lvl char, atleast 64+, but the best is at 76+ or 90+. Well, the higher the better. Good builds for farming are= Wizards, rogues, and int nukers. I acctually prefer a rogue, if u get to choose between a lvl 110 rogue and 110 wiz, i would take rogue cuz the fast shots can 1 hit pt mobs which makes it soooo much faster.

link to guide: viewtopic.php?f=5&t=71661

----------Old Way----------

If you will be chinese u can do this:
Get ur char to lvl 16, your Pacheon (bow mastery) to 7 and fire to 7, and can also take ice to 7 but only pach and fire are required for this, rest is optional. Go to Bandit Stronghold and start killing the lvl 12 Bandit Archer. This is a lot slower then the ong's method tho, so i reccomend you either get a wiz to 64, make a new char and login (u need 2 computers to do this without and 3rd party programs) and make a pt and just start killing ongs with ur wiz. Hope i helped.

So, in the long run, would it'd be easier to use ONG's method? If his method is easier and more effective in the long run, I'd rather use that one. So is it easy to level fast if you're not skill point farming, so it shouldn't take a long time to get up to that level?

It depends... if you have a higher level guildmate who is willing to farm you then do the ong way. If youre completely alone then you can either buy parties or head to the bandits.

the ong method is perfect if you have either another higher level char, or you have a high friend/guildmate willing to poerlevel you. Farming at bandits is alright aswell, but you get items, so you make gold.

actually, without a pet its not much money made, i bought hp small pots and hp herbs and arrows and lost about 70k or more very invo, i only picked up items, not $$$, so bandits aint a good place to "make money"

and ye, ongs is faster/better but if u got no money or anything just go to the free one (1-10) and then try to get into guild or academy (wont get pplvled at ongs in academy cuz they want u to get 40, but u never know)

All the free ones are from bots, so be careful being in that plvl party.

Okay I decided to use the Chinese race and go with a bow user. I'm going full strength and using the pacheon and fire as Tia said, since I don't have a high leveled friend or another alt as this is my first character.

Which skills should I put points into? I have no idea which ones are good and bad...

If u want to farm at bandit stronghold, get fire/pach to 7 and at lvl 16 get a nice bow and go there, once u get to lvl 17, dlvl. Once uf inish farming u can stay bow or u can dlvl bow and just get glavie or blade, ur choice :). just get all skills for pach, except Autumn wind series, and Mind Bow, ppl found it helpfull but it has pretty low dmg, so its optional. for fire get all buffs, and ofc imbue, but dont get the nukes, same goes for ice, (or light) gte buffs and not imbue, but for ice, u can get the imbue, it may be helpful in PVP, and even in PVE if u need to freeze a giant or something xD

There was another thread on SRF where the guy was in a taxi and the powerleveler dc'd. In the party match system, the name does not change when the leader does. The guy went AFK. He came back to find he was the only one in the party and since it had the word "bot" in the party name he states that was the reason he was banned.

dunno if it's true, but why take the chance anyway?
