So after I accidently sat on my old cheapo' headset and ended up crushing it, I decided it's about time I went all out and bought a decent headset. So I did a bit of looking around at the product brands that I know (Razer and Logitech) and came up with some mixed results But truth be told, I don't know much about audio and I'm not sure what exactly I should be looking for. So I need help from people here with a tad more experience than myself.

So far, what I've had a look at are the following;

Razer Carcharias
Price: $130 AUS including shipping

Razer Megalodon
Price: $210 AUS excluding shipping

Logitech G35
Price: $200 excluding shipping

Now frankly, I don't have a clue what makes one headset better from the other. I'd like to limit myself to around $200 in price, but could be a bit higher of it's really recomended. Out of the 3 above, which would you pick and why? Or if not any of these 3, would you recomend something else instead? I'm looking to buy in the next few days, so some advice and recomendations would be more than appreciated :D

Oh, just for clarification, I'm not too interested in getting a seperate microphone/headphone combination. I don't really have the best setup for that atm and I'm restricted to having just a headset.

Personally, I'm a fan of the Turtle Beach products.

Turtle Beach X41s. Newest, best product from Turtle Beach. Can be used for PC or XBox gaming. I love mine and I only have the X11s.

$200 for a G35 Headset, wtf are you shopping from?

I have a G35 headset though and I can tell you if you do find a cheaper price you wont regret buying them. Most comfy, sturdy headset I've had and the sound is awesome.
