Gaige, hey man I know that you really want justice to be served on this guy, but you might be putting yourself in danger and if you chose to try to get him caught, please be careful (I actually mean it).

I remember there was a way to prove rape that he did rape her but your girlfriend had to try not take a shower, so that there would be evidence.

yes and no, only the parents atm can prsss charges (which they are) but its being processed atm

i've seen movies/series where it can be checked if she was sexually abused or not, not implying that it can be done, but it might be able to be done, anyways, i see you're in a tough situation, best thing i think would be to have a talk to the police and em give you advice

nah I wanna make him feel safe where hes at, if people keep taunting him he will suspect shit, so I gotta get him to open up as much as possible for less hassle for the police to deal with

wait are you like pretending to be like friends with him and stuff so he could admit what he did? and if the parents are pressing charges why doesn't your girlfriend stay with you for a few days until the charges process, or have the police put him in a holding cell by matters of personal safety, and/or the protection of others?

On a serious note, let it go and let the police handle it. Don't get yourself hurt. Talk it over with your girlfriend and if she has feelings for you there is no reason to risk getting hurt. If she doesn't it's not worth risking your neck anyway.

The whole situation seems sketchy as fuck.

From your original post, to the story you told us, to them finding her, to now, it all seems.....sketchy.

The original story was shady in the first place. So many inconsistencies in it.
Then her showing up saying she got raped? They can check for that. It's pretty easy to tell.

I dunno mang, my spidey senses are tingling. I feel like there's something else going on here that either she's not telling you, or you're not telling us.

I'll ignore the validity of the scenario in order to try and make my point here.

He has a gun. A goddam, person killing gun. Your like, 17? 18? And your contemplating meeting this guy, who has guns, getting him to threaten you (knowing all the while he owns a gun) and than simply "hope justice prevails?". Just think about it for a second, honestly.

If you really want justice, this isn't the way to go. Chances are you'll get injured or he will hurt your girlfriend more out of revenge for you being a dick. Lie low for a while, consult with the authorities, file for civil protection of your girlfriend if possible (do you have safe-houses? what's the law on getting access to one for a short period? I'm no cop and I'm from Australia, go figure). Chances are someone like him will get caught in the end, so justice will prevail ultimately. Your main concern should be keeping her safe, as opposed to trying to get him caught. It sounds like it could go very, very badly.

Went out with him, found out they were looking for her... Now based on what you said a cop pulled them over... so she either said she was getting home because they were looking for her or the cop recognized her and took her in. The reason she'd have to be at the police station for so long would be because they were treating it like a run away... then she tells her parents they had the sexy... <--- My theory :roll:

Cops asking questions over and over could make this girl nervous enough to say something she shouldn't have about the situation, then parents can press charges - I'm not up on the law, tbh.
