My friend got it, and we have had a shit time getting online for multiplayer, its taking us like 30mins to find a game, and out of the 5 we have managed to get on over the weekend, 3 of them have been so laggy that there is like a 2second delay between trigger and grenade launch. Its bullshit.
Anyone else getting this kinda problem? or know how to fix it?
Yea, Check your NAT. Press Start and its network status. You want it to be OPEN. Just opened mine finally yesterday. I couldnt find a game when I was in a party, my NAT prevented us lots of times and we'd wait forever. Requires Port Forwarding/DMZ on your router possibly to fix if you use one. Could be your friend too though.
ill let him know this, can you give me a rundown of how you opened the NAT?

Xbox 360 Forum Poster Step 1: Get your Xbox 360's IP address from the system blade and choose network settings. Then edit settings should show your Xbox's IP.
Step 2: Go into your routers configuration window thru Internet Explorer. In the address bar type in your routers IP address. It should be default at 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.2.1. When you're prompted for a password you have found it =P. If you haven't changed it the username and password should both be admin, and admin.
Step 3: USING DMZ When you enter into your router config window, you need to find the Tab DMZ, it should be under applications and gaming if you are using Linksys. Once you find the DMZ tab, click enable and type in the last digits of your XBOX into the box below. Yes when you do this you are opening all the ports on your Xbox, which is insecure, but show me someone that has hacked into an xbox 360? <MAKE SURE YOU SAVE SETTINGS> Step 4:Using Port Fowarding After you have enabled DMZ, find the Port Fowarding tab, should be under advanced routing. For the name type in XBL or whatever you want, and for port range put 87 to 89, choose UDP, then your XBOX last digits, and enable. Then do 3073 to 3075 choose TCP, then your XBOX last digits, and enable. Then again do 3073 to 3075 choose UDP, then your XBOX last digits, and enable. <MAKE SURE YOU SAVE SETTINGS> Step 5:Using UPnP This is just incase. Go into UPnP fowarding and enter in the same stuff you did for Step 4. <MAKE SURE YOU SAVE SETTINGS> Step 6: Now logout of your router config. Unplug your router and modem from the power, then plug in the router 1st, wait 30 seconds. Then plug in the modem and wait at least 2 minutes. If you don't do these hard restarts it might not work!
Step 7: Restart your Xbox and go to the system blade, choose network settings, then test connection. This may take a bit, but when it gets down to NAT type it should say OPEN. If not, sorry. You can just undo all the settings we changed, you can just uncheck enabled on the port fowarding. or if you want to restore your router to the factory defaults just push the reset button on the back of it.

Yep same here...only need about 5,000 CR for grade 2. I love Invasion...thats probably one of the funnest game types. The falcon is probably the funnest thing to pilot too...I'm always the pilot and I fly my friends around while they get kills. One of my gunners got 14 kills in one go and the other got like 8...pretty beast

I got 'Be The Bullet' saturday Big team slayer on hemmoasfdasga something...The old blood gulch from halo 2 lol. Also had a 24 spree when some asshole like spawned in our camp and basically buttraped me grrr

(It doesn't make any sense but )I've also heard that bungie is banning people who are playing score attack too much...i guess because they are ranking up too fast...? idk not sure if its true but i'm hearing it a lot now.

tip for using the dmr, if anyone here isn't aware of it yet kind of cancels out the bloom effect and gives you a little bit of an advantage in dmr battles
2 consecutive shots are VERY accurate. pretty much pinpoint. since dmr is 5 shot kill
pop-pop, pop-pop, pop. once you get used to it, really effective. just give it a little wait between each comma obviously, but you don't have to wait long. once you get the hang of it it's greeeat.
I'm very good with DMR. Sometimes I forget that it's just a single shot version of the battle rifle which I sucked with. Also, Focus Rifle is way stronger than it was in the beta it seems. Half way through campaign right now.

It fixed itself. Seriously, as soon as i opened the Nat settings to check that it was Open... and i played 1 game, then posted here it stopped lagging..
When i play tommorow again with him ill see if its still the same.. but yeah

For real though...how are you already major grade 2? I mean I've been doing challenges left and right and score attack here and there and I'm just now making Warrant grade 3..

Lol only need 2 ppl with Drop Shield to be totally be un fare. Get the ball, Drop Shield. When yours is about to run out, Teammate drops his. Then vice versa.
EDIT: How the heck do ppl get their camo to stay on while Mobile? Mine always fades. I was watchign some clips on youtube and it stays on even while walking full speed >.> am I missing something?
yeah they should take away some of the armor abilities in games like oddball/koth especially. leaving jet pack, armor lock, sprint, camo, and mirage would be just fine.
also, taking away radar from the pro versions of team arena would be dandy..
