Hahah, trueee. The only time I find a spoiler acceptable is on a damn GT3 car. Not on some kids street car, cuz he thinks it looks badass.

Gotta disagree. To me nothing beats the look of a euro tuner dropped 2 and a half inches on 19's haha. Can be a tight fit, but to me, having the time and cash to put into the car means class, not buying some boring stock car that looks exactly like the douche down the street.

Haha, I truly, really, honestly do think that everyone who lowers their cars are the biggest retards alive.

Why the **** would you lower your car? So your poor, old mother with her hernia can't get in?

Of course the Netherlands is one of the countries in the world with the most speedbumps in the most retarded places, but srsly, you really wanna get out of your car and push it over the speedbump everytime you encounter one?

Hahaha funny to watch, even funnier to talk to, but to be one?

Nonono, even if they'd throw me a lowered car for free I prolly wouldn't accept it.(Unless I can easily undo the lowering, like just taking of those damn rims)
High cars ftw. Audi Q5, Kia Sportage, Kia Sorento, Land Rovers and anything offroad or SUV like is mein.

Exactly.

Bikes get you more pussy then a car that your date has to get out of so that it's high enough for a speedbump.

you know that car lowering comes in stages, you don't need your car 2cm from the
ground to call it lowered. lowering your car and stiffening suspension could mean
a great difference in the car's handling.

and the cars you talk about that people have to get out of to get over the speed
bumps in the netherlands are usually show cars, not everyone lowers their car that
much and for speedbumps most guys nowadays have air ride or some other system to
lower the car for the shows then pump them up a bit to actually drive them

edit: my car was lowered by the manufacturer and i can get over pretty much any
speed bump without any problem. lowering it gave the car a much nicer and a bit
more agressive look just the way i like it. looks less dull than the regular models

edit2: and lol at you saying lowered cars are useless but u want a suv
you live in the netherlands right

That was... Interesting. Opinion I suppose, as well as preference. I like the look of a lowered car because of the stance looking more aggresive. Cant get the same look with a standard ride height. I also really like the handling of a properly lowered car. When I say lowered, I'm not talking some shit setup where an idiot just put smaller springs. I mean an actual SPORT coilover set, which means you can adjust the height to your liking. I guess I'll never drive an SUV due to the fact that I like corners faster than 20 MPH without so much body roll, that I have to worry about tipping =]

Good luck driving in the south of Holland. I'd rather make my car a bit higher then default.

what car do you drive right now?

i've driven my car just about anywhere, all over the netherlands, in
the scandinavian/spanish/italian mountains, etc. never had any trouble

the people making these comments do they drive or do they just think
they know.. idk some of the stuff i read in here is just wrong and that's
me talking from personal experience (6+ years of driving all over the
netherlands).. i never heard about anyone who would want to or have to
increase their ride height in order to get over an avarage speedbump

Well I have no experience with lowered vehicles, but I sometimes see cars who are centimeters from the ground who need to slow down A LOT so they won't damage their ricer bumpers.
It just depends on how much you lower your car I guess. I'm fine with stock height, but if you can easily get over average speedbumps your car is higher then I thought it was.
For example this car doesn't have to be lowered in my opinion:

While on the other side I'd lower this car straight away:

this is pretty much my car in stock height. i dont have a gti i have
a 1.6 gt sport, but yeah look at that height and tell me you wouldn't
lower that a bit lol. oh and i have a nicer strip at the bottom front
without the dent in it but thats because mine is a '96 one.
Spoiler!

my car isnt insane low it's just lowered a bit and suspension is a bit
stiffer, and it really helps the car's handling. dont worry btw i dont
have a modded one with insane spoilers, skirts etc, i even put on a new
stock exhaust last year. its just that the bit of lowering adds so much
to the handling and looks that it's really worth it

Personally I like all types of cars.
Muscle cars are easier to gain raw power on with bolt-ons, great for drags N/A.
Tuners are the most fun I think, they have amazing potential when it comes to boost, such as the GT-R and the Supra, for example.
Euro cars I typically think of luxury mixed with a bit of performance, such as Porsche.

When I'm out of college I plan on buying either a R35 (with a Switzer P6-800 kit down the road) or a C6 Z06 Vette, add in 10 grand to the Vette and presto, 600RWHP N/A (which is damn impressive if you ask me) with a car that weighs under 3,000LBS with a couple of changes.

Only thing that keeps me away from the new R35 is the transmission and the car's weight.

Chances are I'll get the Z06 as you can find used ones here for 30k or under, add in 10k in mods, and you'll be running laps around 99% of the cars here for under 40K USD.

You should try typing something other than question marks next time...Thank you.

Porsche has superb performance with most of their cars, though they are quite expensive and do lug quite a bit of weight.
The 911 Turbo-S has reached 60MPH in 2.9 which is very fcking impressive.
They seem to loose their "oomph" at higher end speeds, though.

I do like BMW, however not entirely for performance.
Their engines are practically bulletproof.

If I ever decide to spend 200K on a car, I'll be buying Porsche's next series with the flat eight in it.

I find those both to be ugly cars...

Second one doesn't know if it's a van, a car, or an suv, and first one is just all around ugly, might look good in a different color scheme though.
