im supprised how little you guys know about science

before i post a video to lightly prove my point, water like many other liquids becomes solid at impact how much impact varys on its thicknes thus when you travel at speed or fall from high hitting the water can do as much damage as hitting a brick wall

now this is custard and its different in my ways but essentially its the same as you need to keep moving but dont get me wrong im not saying this is exactly the same the corn startch/corn flour makes it extremly easy and even the slightest movement will make it solid

again this is only a mild example as this substance isnt 100% liquid anyways but the science can carry accross to water but im unsure how much speed would be needed to make it possible

stop using science as an excuse and to backup
human can't run in water like that (with a simple sport shoes)
the video you posted above is about a liquid-solid, which has nothing to do with water in the sea.

Wong's actually not wrong,

Theoretically, it is possible for humans to walk on water. However, there are many things which need to be factored in.

Water Tension
Speed
Displacement Area
Water Calmness
Weight

To make it IDEAL for a human to walk run on water, he would want to displace as much water as possible with his shoe (i.e he would want the biggest/widest sole shoe possible), he would want to be a skinny little boy, and weigh as little as possible, he would want to run at a great speed (possibly faster than currently humanly possible) and ensure that he is running on still calm water, to take full advantage of water Tension.

So, tbh Humans will never walk on Water, however they will run on it. Theoretically it's possible.

The video that Wong posted is actually very similar to the dynamics of water tension, with a sudden force, Water tension will bind together for an instant, until either 1) the new force becomes constant (i.e you stand still) 2) the force overcomes the tension possibility (i.e your a fat ass)

Why do you think that for new divers they put bubbles in the water? It's to break the water tension, so that it doesn't hurt if something goes wrong, and the myth that you should always throw something in-front of you to break the water tension if falling off a high place into the water.

If you wanna walk on water, why not just put a boat on it first?

If you would walk around in that one you're walking UNDER water.

Therefore it's awesome, yet invalid, no?

Of course there is tension and force when you hit the surface of the water. But we're talking about human which has lots of default to be ideal. There is no point in talking about theory when we're facing the reality.

but neither of us actually knows how much force/speed etc is needed to make it possible so for all intensive purposes, theory is enough to say the video possibly isnt fake if you come back with numbers that suggest otherwise then be my guest
