Well I don't got any personal experiences with it, but my mom had to work once with someone who had Epilepsy. She said that you have to put something in his mouth so he don't swallow his tongue. You can put like a piece of cloth in his mouth. Don't stuff his mouth with it, just make sure that his tongue is like locked with it so (s)he won't choke.

You also need to check if he isn't bringing any medicine with him. Most people here who have Epilepsy, carry a medicine with them in case of a seizure, which needs to be injected when they have one.

Also put him on his side, down on the floor and make sure the area around him is clear. You don't want him to hit anything during his seizure. You can try to restrain him a bit, but sometimes this is to hard cause of the size of the person. Then it's just important that you make sure that his neck stays fine and he isn't bumping his head or something.

And if the seizure lasts minutes then definitely call an ambulance.

Everything is fine except for these.

-Restraining the person's movement can cause injury - to the restrainer and the one experiencing the seizure.
-Stuffing cloth or any objects in the person's mouth will only obstruct their breathing and have the potential to go down the person's throat. If you are thinking of holding it with your finger, don't. If you're thinking of using a spoon, make sure the guy has a good dental plan because if he bites down, it's going to cause more damage.

Just lay the person to the side, secure the head, clear the area, kneel around his head, look for info bracelet/necklace/cards and medications, call 911.

Hey, I don't know half my family so I can't care...

God I'd be so happy if some far away relative left me money, or even better, a building.

I'd cry for him/her. Out of happiness!

Blackfox asked for a picture of the highly dangerous, seductive female kind. I did what I could to shoot one in her natural habitat. Do yo know how hard I worked on that!?

yes. I found the weakest, they have a strange tribe.

The others saw my camera and started to attack me so I had to run and I came across this wounded example, abandoned by the rest of the tribe.

Can you blame them?

At times like this I pop out my trusty bible and commend him to the one and only master of all there is, his soul will be in good hands and without a doubt the very best for him will be done.

It is difficult to recognize a seizure if you're not trained to look for it. A generalized tonic clonic seizure however is easier to recognize. Eye rolling (up or to one side) with one or both sides having stiffness (tonic) or shaking movements (clonic) is common, but it isn't the only kind of seizure. When you do see it, or you know that person has epilepsy (and apparently uncontrolled), your first approach is always universal:

Danger - ensure you are safe. Do not place yourself in harms way.
Response - elicit a response, verbal/touch/pain.

Now ask someone to call for help, preferably an ambulance.

Airway
Breathing
Circulation

Now specifically for a seizure, do not restrain the person. Carefully roll them to their side. Even if they bite their tongue do not try to free it. Seizures lasting greater than 10 minutes compromises oxygen supply to the central nervous system (brain) regardless if they have something obstructing their airway or not. Other things you can do while waiting for help to arrive, find out if the person has any other comorbidities (health problems) such as diabetes. It might just be a case of hypoglycemia (which can appear like an epilepsy) and that information is very important.

On a side note, it is also funny to strip someone naked while they're having a fit.

Some years ago a friend, the bassist of my band during those times suffered from epilepsy. One day another friend and I were actually joking about it with him, i know it's wrong, but we were. Then at some point after laughing he started to make weird sounds and movements and we f*cking thought he was joking, then when things got serious i actually shat bricks because I didn't know what to do. The seizure lasted short then his mother came and took him to the hospital. It sucked... Since then i started to read a lot about it and what to do in such situations.
