ok, first of all let me state several things, and I'm hopeful we can discuss this in an adult manner.

while on the way to work this morning I was listening to a morning show where they were talking about Ricky Martin coming out. And there was a quote where he said "I hate myself" or something like that. That confused me, why would he hate himself because he's gay or something?

Anyway the host said someone had mentioned once that ALL guys have had some type of erotic dream with males involved. I went WHAT? No way - I've never had that kind of dream. They went on to say something like there is no "bi", either you are gay or you're not.

So my question really is, have any males here had an erotic dream that involved guys and you consider yourself straight? No judgement here, I am just curious to see how people reply.

And hey let's keep it calm, no insults or flaming or shit about people's experiences, their lives are their own. I don't want it to go way off topic.

Not that I remember... But you don't remember most of your dreams anyway right?

Chances are high that this statement is correct.

If you try to remember the dreams you had, you will probably come to a count of about ~10 dreams that you remember pretty well. (atleast that's as much as i can remember at the moment)

Besides of this you dream quite often at night but you can't even remember that you were dreaming.

If you can't remember your dreams then technically you can deny his statement. I normally remember the bulk of my dream immediately after waking up and I have no memory of a gay experience in one.

But hey if he's able to say that and it's more or less true since we can't remember, then the same goes for anything else. You've all had dreams where you're a key on a keybored and you get smashed inwards every few seconds. Enjoy.

I've never had such a dream... or atleast, i have no memmories of ever having such a dream.

I cant really see how something like this could be proven anyhow.

rofl@Azilius - true enough.

For the most part I don't remember my dreams but the ones that I do, I tend to write down and analyze. What's weird is when some of them that I had came true - like I dreamt I went to a store and bought $2.09 worth of stuff for $2.00. I mean, I couldn't have had any impact on that, short of making sure I didn't have enough money before going to the store.

My favorite dream was the one I had about 12-15 years ago. I dreamt I was playing a game with silk in it and killing monsters. well, that turned out to be SRO, and that was before I had even discovered MMO's, so when I started playing and got that "deja vu" feeling I went and looked through my writings and holy shit, there it was. Kinda weird.

Dammit, I've gone off topic in my own thread :(

Not really, I do remember a lot of my nightmares tbh and none involved other guys. And though i might not remember my dreams i do remember how i felt after them so I'm sure i haven't had such a dream.

On another note, most of the people replying to this thread are relatively young with a lot of night's still to go to have a erotic dream involving males :sohappy:

On another note is this also true about the opposite sex? do women also have an erotic dream concerning with other women atleast once in their life?

Nah, it's pretty good, they were just parroting something they heard somewhere. Whether or not it's BS is up to me to find out. I take what they say with a grain of salt, it's only entertainment, not someone claiming to be an expert.

Something That should be said here. Quite interesting imo

Quote:
Men tend to dream more about other men, while women tend to dream equally about men and women. In addition, both men and women experience sexually related physical reactions to their dreams regardless of whether the dream is sexual in nature; males experience erections and females experience increased vaginal blood flow.
