I find it useful for keeping in touch with people. As far as getting screwed over at the job because of recklessly talking shit about your boss (like I do sometimes), it's a matter of understanding the consequences and being careful about what you post online.



That's all up to you. If you feel that you must post everything about your private life if you have facebook, then you have a big problem. I hate to burst your bubble but it's actually not mandatory for people who have facebook to do that.

Also, I didn't update mine to the new layout. Old one works just fine.

True, but still a lot of people in my class and other of my friends do share quite a lot at Facebook. I'm just glad that apparently not everyone is like that
