I'm also looking for some in ear headphones for the gym. Most importantly they must be noise isolating because at the gym they have their own music playing, and to cancel that sound out I have to turn my volume right up, and I don't like to do that because I always think I'm going to damage my ears.

Could anyone recomend me some? Not too high priced either ^^

Chart made by a guy who's opinion I trust.

IEM's from best to worst. Some are much cheaper now and have new models.

For something under 100 then anything made by Sennheiser should be good IMO. If you're willing to spend a bit more than you won't regret buying Phonak's Audeo PFE(Perfect Fit Earphones). I'm currently using a pair and they're great.

^ Thanks for that, helped a lot.
I ordered some SoundMagic PL30 Earphones from Amazon. With 45 ratings averaging 4.5/5, I don't see these headphones going far wrong.

I bought them for £35, even though there were sites selling them for half that, but I didn't want to risk buying a pair of fake headphones that would be crappy quality.

where could i get a pair of sennheiser headphones other than off the internet? any local store like bestbuy?

The few bestbuys within driving range for me have some Sennheiser selection, not a great selection but you never know. Check bestbuy.com/bestbuy.ca and see what they have and futureshop as well.

I've had my sennheiser HD490's for 15-20 years. They're extremely comfortable and offer great sound reproduction.

One feature I like: the cord is detachable from the headset itself. Great if you're changing applications and want a longer or shorter cord or a coiled cord if you're moving around.

But even better if you snag it on something. Instead of ripping the wires out or pulling your stereo off the shelf, it just pops out of the headset. Pop it back in and g2g.

Hmm I'm not entirely sure about the warrenty, you'd have to call ultimate ears or something and ask. I have a better version of the ones you linked (same appearance) and my friend has the super fi 5, they don't really look much different but they (super fi 5) sound better. The buds on the super fi 5 are also better IMO because when you push them into your ear even if they fold back a bit they won't be touching anything. On the others the buds are very close to the plastic of the earphone and if you push back it starts to touch the plastic, forcing you to readjust the headphone placement.

idk if you know what I mean by that =p but yes, in my opinion it's much better IF it has the same warrenty.
