Ok. so i purchased this computer off ebay, its going to be used for extremely light gaming. nothing graphic intense.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=140484355591&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT

It's an HP DC5750

Comes with:
AMD 3800+ 2.0ghz CPU
500GB HDD
2GB Ram DDR2
512MB GPU
19" LCD monitor

Like i said, im not buying this for something like Crysis on high detail, just some low graphic games. like sro >_>

Did i mention i bought it for only $316?!?

Good or bad? Also, just to upgrade it a bit more im thinking about buying an extra stick of ram and maybe changing the CPU what do you guys think? Is it worth buying a new CPU or should i just stick in a new stick of ram for $20bux?

well seeing how you have already brought the item (PC) and our then asking us, shows your confident in your ebay purchase. Just make sure you get everything as advertised.

I guess you can play it out what you wanna do, but its best to wait for the PC (check what you actually cant do) before you go out
and spend money.

one thing u wanna do though is format the HDD an reinstall the windows, never trust refurbished computer OSes as they could be loaded with "keyloggers"

No, the ram and cpu upgrades aren't worth it, if you are going to spend money on anything have it be on a gpu.

I would put money against that "nice ATI GPU" statement and I haven't read what model it is.

And again you don't need ram ...

the only question i have right now is i want to know the watt on the PSU in the system, cant wait to have my hands on this and take it apart just to see what i can upgrade.

Most GPU's nowadays require much more wattage then what comes with the default system. this SFF comes with 240W but with a 500GB 7200rpm HDD and the GPU... impossible to be running 240w

you will have to find a GPU that does not need an extra 6 or 8 pin power connector unless you have the power adapter.
