LOL good luck in the cross mate...

The Cross isn't half as bad as everyone makes it out to be. It will be insanely crowded though, that I won't deny. But with the insane amount of cops that will be partolling you will find that it will be pretty tame tonight. I've been clubbing there and walk around there that many times and haven't even heard of anything bad happening. But maybe I'm just lucky >_<
Although I once walked from Vaucluse to Town Hall in the middle of the night by myself, that was goddam scary

Was super crowded (both the harbour, and the Cross - which was to be expected) but was still a bit of fun. No doubt bad stuff happens in the Cross, but it's not really anything most people haven't seen elsewhere.

Vau to the city is a long walk... no way could I be bothered doing that.

Yeah I spent the night in Bondi and it was insanely packed. We trekked back to the apartment early though, around 10ish (started drinking at midday) and we had a great view of the fireworks from the balcony. A lot of people though, the line to the toilet was 30 minutes long =/
