In BFBC2 I often spend my time just looking for people unless I sit on a point and just wait.

that's why I never really liked BF. The game is way too strategic and lacks action imo. The only part about it that I like are the graphics and that it requires real skills. Cod is easy as f*ck but it's fun. It's just pure action, running free through the map and raping everyone. You can't do that shi!t with BF.

And those reasons, are exactly the reason why I like Battlefield. It's different for everyone.

Well maybe not different from anyone, but different from other AAA shooter.
Beside of that i find it much more pleasing when i am able to storm a flag with my mates due to perfect communication and teamwork of everyone. COD for example just can't bring me that feeling cause everybody can just run in and rambo everyone to death and maybe throw in a flashbang if you want to go for a tactical approach.

If you find BFBC2 to be lacking action you aren't playing it right.

When I play I get as much action as COD, and more so than CS since you don't have to wait until the end of the round.

(3:40 WTF)

Code: Select all

To get into the fights in BFBC2 you have to know where they will happen. You need to remember that teammates spawn on eachother or on flags. So, head to where the bad guys are heading and when they die, head toward cap point at which they would be most likely to spawn.

Exceptions are the giant Farking maps on BFBC2, which is why I like Vietnam more.

If you want super Farking action, play on a 32+ player server on Rush. You get 32 players within spitting distance.

2142 you could easily do it when the ship's shields are down and you're all boarding it.

But that's what I like about BF. It isn't instant action which I find boring.. well excluding Bad Company

Let me give this thread a bump with this:

From the first enemy I killed I already loved BF singleplayer. SP hitmarkers ftw.

I'm Different. I like Halo/Cod/Battlefield
I guess it depends on my mood, but I get equal enjoyment out of all 3. They are just fun as fuck. Just when you think the game can't get any better, they release and even better looking one that makes you toss away that $60

I am getting this. No Doubt! The first trailer they released already had me sold. The 12 minute gameplay one. Insane. I'd even go so far as to say from what I've seen between this and Mw3, I like these graphics more. There's just a nice balance between the environment and character. Mw2 lacked on Environment graphics and focused more on players but it was still awesome. Mw3 looks nice, but I'd have to see more to make a fair argument. Over all, Battlefield Bad Company 2 -> Battlefield 3 Graphics is a Massive Improvement. Mw2 -> Mw3 doesn't look as Impressive.

Activision CEO Bobby Kotick wanted to play Battlefield 3 at E3 2011 yesterday. Only one problem: he had to get past EA.

Spoiler!

I see that as someone trying really hard to get a news story. He probably simply asked to be a part of the demo or had a rep do it and it got blown out of proportion. Honestly though, can you blame him? lol

The thing was he expected to jump in front of the line, but they didn't allow him. I'm not sure if the military people and xzibit had to wait in line though. I could imagine they were just allowed to jump in front. I'd honestly be okay with it.

Of course the news story is getting out of context easily, but hey.. it's all about Bobby Kotick trying to play the game. Regardless of what happened.

I knew i saw the LMG take down his Bi-Pod in one of the videos that came out of E3, but my friends wouldn't believe me. Sweet. Love mounted Machine-guns.

Squad leader must get something special.

looks so awesome! besides the face that it will only run at 30fps on consoles and cant imagine it running very well on 360s and ps3s...

But if you have a decent PC then it will be a godly game!

As far as i got told squad leader haven't got some special stuff like commander in BF2, but he is the only person you can spawn on (which is a good feature in my opinion, might enforce team play withing pug-squads a bit more)

The 3D spotting is the triangle thing over the enemies head you already can see in BFBC2
