0l3n got hacked, whoever got it posted a bunch of pron. got rid of the hackers last few posts, his sig needs to be changed still.

When i tried to edit a post at that topic , it said "couldn't read that forum" , We have a bored hacker here that wants to have some fun but it wasn't cool that he posted someones personal info .

And damn it he found 10 characters alpha numeric password , guess our passwords aren't safe anymore .

I banned him till he gets his computer check out

The hacker was posting personal stuff from 0l3n, like IP adress, MSN id pw, mail ID PW, facebook ID PW, and all that shit.

I'm sure Ol3n has someone's MSN address, or something.

when he trys to log in he will get a page saying he is banned with an email he can appeal to. from there we can un ban him.

For anyone worried about him getting SRF's password hash and is "currently brute-forcing it" take one moment to calm down and think, he gave out Ol3n's SRF, Facebook, MSN etc. etc. etc. passwords. If he got all that through SRF's password hash then you guys should all help him cause you might find Bill Gates' Bank info in there as well.

I thank you for your concern. While it's not a bad idea to post a thread, it's often a better idea to contact the staff members through PM or, if you have it, MSN, e-mail or whatever.

Whenever I receive a private message here on SRF, I get a rather loud notification, and as long as my computer is on line and I'm at home, I am able to read it within minutes and take action as needed.


Don't worry. The message that displayed was because one of the staff members moved the entire threads to a different part of the forum that can only be seen by the staff.

It's a quick way to remove personal or inappropriate content from the public's view without deleting it, so valuable information, like accountnames and ip addresses are still available for investigation.


He had probably gotten to a main e-mail account, which stored confirmation and registration info of those websites. He certainly hasn't gotten it through SRF.


No, banned accounts cannot do anything unless they are unbanned. Their owners have no access to the account, nor to SRF itself with all the banned ip-addresses that are linked to the account.

That said, the hacker's ip and 0l3n's account are banned, and 0l3n's account info is changed.
Ol3n can still access SRF, as his ip addresses are not banned. He just has no access to his account as of now.
When he returns, we will aid him in setting his account back up.

The 'hacker' has done nothing extra-ordinary, such as being able to edit other people's posts or changing the rules, and you can disregard all the threats he made about him hacking SRF.
The mods are active enough to notice any change to their accounts themselves, and other important accounts have not suddenly been active or had their info changed.

Should you doubt the safety of your own password, or registered e-mail, remember you can change it at Account Settings here.

About the "can't read forum" thingy , i figured out that the thread was deleted or something related to mods so i wasn't able to edit my post XD .

I didn't mean that he got his passwords from srf but a 10 characters alpha numeric (letters and numbers) password is "supposed" to be a hard one to get .

It's hard to get from a encrypted password database, but you see that he got a bunch of different passwords from a bunch of different password servers. He obviously did not hack all of those servers and get Ol3n's passwords; ol3n probably has a password manager on his browser or password program that was hacked or something like that.

Some idiot got ahold of his computer and was able to retrieve the logged username and password, duh

Ol3n will have to change all his important passwords as the hacker probably stored them on a notebook , Reformat and hope that he doesn't get your passwords again .

The hacker uses fire fox , so it may be wise to stay away from it for now and use internet explorer or whatever .

0l3n, read your private messages. You will be unable to post on SRF with that new account, but you can use private messages.

Didn't I just get done saying like 2 weeks ago that it doesn't matter how long your pw is, if a hacker wants to get your info, and they know what the hell they're doing, they're gonna get your info.

Either someone got his keychain jacked or they were RAT/keyed.

Anyway, it looks like someone got a virus on my PC and got to my passwords as SM said. But I've reformated and im back in buissness, I'll run some programs later on to make sure its really gone but it shouldnt be a problem.

Thanks for the support though guys and the quick actions by the mods, you have my everlasting thanks for that. I hope he/she(/it?) didnt cause to much of a sh!tstorm though.

And it looks like he lives close to Germantown, MD, US and is using Firefox on Windows Vista if anyone feels like putting their hacking powers to good use (atleast thats what Facebook tells me).
