on athens i believe most elements lvl 1-3 go for 500 each. although some life fire 1 is so plentiful that you'd be lucky to get 250 each. as chaud said, wind 2 at the least you will get 1k each. and when supply is low i've seen them go for 1.5k.

tablets vary alot, the only ones you'd probably get a little more out of are crit, str, int, and maybe durability. and those would mainly be for the level 3 tablets due to lvl 16 farming weapons.

The price for elements depends on the server.

I've been rondoing everything I get for elements hoping to make a few gold from them. I went thru stalls each time I came into Jangan today (Alps) and wrote down prices being asked for elements, when I saw them. The asking prices are all over the place.

Fire 1's, for example, I found prices from 80 ea. to 498 ea. Earth 1's 29-496 ea. Wind II's seem to be stable around 1k ea. The lowest I saw them was 109 for 76,000, or 697 ea.

I don't know how else to figure prices for these. It takes a little time, but what else can you use to get a reasonable idea of what to ask?

hey, i'll help with your averages. I'll walk around Jangan Market square today and find average prices for all elements and tablets. Maybe we can then make a semi-price guide or something?

I think that's a good idea. Problem is, they fluctuate and it might be necessary to have updates... maybe weekly? I'll try to offer what I can here and there.

One thing I've noticed about stalls is that some of them stay open for long periods of time, like almost all day, without any changes being made to them. It's like someone is putting up a stall just to keep their place on the server or something. So, we'd want to be careful about duplicating recordings from the same stall. Heh, I somtimes get confused and click on the same stall 2 or 3 times, they get bunched up so close together.

Here are my numbers from yesterday... keep in mind these are prices various people were asking who may not realize what their market value is. One person even admitted in their stall notes that they had no idea what they were actually worth. :?

This does NOT mean that this is what people will buy them at, these are just what people are offering them for in stalls.

I've duplicated numbers to show how many times I found that price. These values are per one element, taken from price divided by quantity. I've tried to be as careful as I could in recording and calculating them correctly:

Alps - 06 October, 2006
Earth
I - 250, 250, 29, 205, 496
II - 1250, 43, 153, 121, 298, 327, 265, 206, 51, 454, 698
III - 157, 400, 928, 900

Water
I - 250, 40, 194, 500
II - 43, 206, 299, 219, 377, 697
III - 2500, 225, 400, 300, 962, 898

Wind
I - 566, 171, 500, 500
II - 1000, 1000, 987, 697
III - 1857, 300, 1714, 1000

Fire
I - 150, 225, 83, 100, 200, 267, 186, 498
II - 300, 75, 196, 300, 372, 223, 58, 697
III - 171, 400, 400, 327, 954

This probably belongs in the Market forum, but everything there seems to get swallowed in the sea of 'WTB/WTS.' I know there's a sticky there for 'what's my weapon/item worth', but it might be nice to have an elements only market watch thread. I plan on being in farming mode for at least a few weeks and I'll be extracting elements from everything I can. So I'll post what I see in the Jangan market here for that time, if not longer. We can see how it goes.

It would be nice if people reported what they sold elements for. How many, what price and the server name.

Ugh... I'm thinking this is more trouble than it's worth. I was hoping a little 'research' would pay off, but prices on these things are so variable... I was looking in one stall at elements, taking notes, when up on the stall chat pops, "You going to buy something, or just look all day?"

Some people get so upset when they don't sell anything.

I managed to sell 3 lots of 50 Wind II's at 45k after about 5 minutes of putting up a stall the other day. Haven't sold a single one since. I'm not the kind who likes to hang out in the markets, so I'm storing my elements for some experimenting with tablets/stones.

I have yet to get a successful upgrade. :banghead:

If I try to sell any I don't use, I think I'll just double or triple the offer from the store and see how that goes.

Happy marketing.

I did a comparison of vendor prices before and after fusing an item. The price for the item (that can be disassembled), and the store price for all the elements you get from them, are the same. Difference being, you're out the 20g it cost for the rondo if you sell the elements back to the store.

So, if you don't want the elements, just sell the cheap rings/broken arrows/hair/whatever to a merchant.
