If you're looking for minimum fps upgrades than probably, nothing is going to make an unplayable game that your system can't support suddenly playable except hardware upgrades. (unless it's a software issue e.g. magicka)

Yes, it will make your system technically more efficient. In terms of practicality it won't make much of a difference. Guess you can trick yourself into thinking it's faster though.

If you're looking for an optimization tool for whenever you're playing games, you should check out this software:

i had that program running.

i dont think that program is beneficial. i got 2 screens hooked up to my PC, on 1 im running pretty much constant series or movies and on the other SRO. Sometimes that gets a little hars for my PC when i die in SRO and port to town,, kind do anything about that,, but if had 3 times that my system was overflown with processes or something and my PC thought it was usefull to reboot. that's normal i think, system overflow = shutdown and reboot

but before that program i didnt have any problem. i deleted it and i havent had any reboot in a week... btw i didnt notice any beneficial affect of that software. my windows automaticcaly lowers the ram of a client if i start another client in sandbox. my ram usage is ALWAYS 90% unless i'm running only 1 or 2 programs.

and it doesnt have system overflows like i do get with that software. for me it's not working,,

so if you are going to download this shizzle, do monitor the ram usage to see if it has any benefit for you. i'm running win7 x64. if you download that software, do test if it has benefits for you and dont get your system overflown and rebooted.

my experience is there are no magical programs. i was pretty suprised myself that win7 assigns RAM automatically and lowers RAM assigned to some programs if you need more somewhere else. maybe other windows versions have the same i dunno, but i first noticed it in win7. (atleast it works for SRO,, it's the only game i open a second client in virtual machine) anyway,,

i think you are searching for a program that doesnt excist.... :) just defragging and cleaning up your PC to get an edge.

What the gamebooster does, is that it closes all other running processes. So yeah, it does work. It's basically a fast way to close Skype, xfire, browser, useless software etc. while the game is running. Once the game is closed, all the software will start up again - pretty smart!
