So I'm going to London in 24th with 3 of my friends and Id like to get some tips from those who have been or live in London.

We are especially looking for good pubs (we like good beer lol). Also places with good live bands would be great.

Im personally interested in some good night clubs. (We are all 19 years old if that helps at all)

Also if you could point out some good shopping places it would be great.

Any infomation at all is very helpful so don't hold back. Id really like to get the most of this trip.

Thanks.

If you've got a few pounds to spent, you should probs go and take a trip on the London eye too.
A combi ticket for the London eye + a trip around the Thames is 26 pounds i believe.

Also, if you're going to London- Oyster cards can be bought at machines in the London underground (the tourist info stuff says they're only sold at overground stations, which is not true >.<).

London has to may pubs to name to be honest, it just depends on where you'll be staying i guess.
If you're not good with underground maps- i suggest downloading an app for your phone to tell you the routes in text.

I'm going to London too, on a school trip next month.

You should search for the "Hard Rock Cafe". Just search on google and find where it is in London. Definitely something worth visiting. I haven't been to the one in London yet, though.
Only the one in Berlin :)

Leicester square is a great spot for nightclubs and tonnes of other stuff. For pubs there's so many around you're bound to run into some with good beer. And for shopping there are tonnes of shops on Oxford Street aswell as the Selfridges shopping centre. And in Shephard's Bush there is Westfield which is a huge mall.

Your staying in Kensington which is a posh area so hope your bringing a lot of cash with you lolz.

Thanks for info. Do you know if the riots have affected those areas?

Not at all the areas are mentioned are located in Central London which has always has a high presence of police. All the commotion and everything from the riots has died now so I'd say it's safe.

I went to London 3 weeks ago, and those are definitely the 3 places to be. You have to go to the M&M-shop as well near Leicester Square.
Touristic spots:
- London eye
- Westminster abbey & Big Ben
- Downing street (u can't go in anymore :()
- Tower of London and Tower Bridge
- Soho district of course!

I slept at the Picadilly Backpacker hotel at Picadilly Circus, was very nice and close to a tube station.

"Mind the gap!"
