Seriously, get your head outta ur ass. Soccer is a sport tainted with injury fakers and whiners (Ex: Italy & Barca). And how is it conceivable that in 2011 there is still no video replay. Soccer could be great but as it is played now, it's far from being great. Give big penalties to the fakers and introduce video replays, that would be a giant step foward.

As for the AFL, that's nuts! I gotta watch a game someday.

I love football (AKA, Soccer). It is my favorite sport. But I have to agree with you about the level of faking that has now plague the game. I'm disgusted with it too. Something needs to be done. I don't agree with video replay as that would turn an already long game into even a very longer one.

^erm. Football games go as long as 4hours (4 quarters of 15)
Basketball games, are around 2+ hours (4 quarters of 15)
Soccer games... 2 hours max, for a 90 minute game.

Definitely not very long, also how hard is it for the boot to check it , i mean it takes the same amount of time as teams take to setup for freekicks, penalties, from dives cause of cards/players crowding the ref.

I mean they cant even be sure if someone has scored a goal or not

The problem with introducing a video umpire to Soccer (or Football if that's what you call it) is that it slows down the pace and momentum of the game. The game of Soccer is actually pretty short when compared to, I don't know, a 40 hour game of cricket (5 x 8 hours). But if the game starts referring to the video umpire more and more often, it can kill the pace of the game which is a pretty bad thing in my eyes.
