Blue theme for me, besides the sensitivity meter on my mouse (the mode setting is blue, however) and my microphone when it's on.

Small monitor, but thats fine for first person shooters imo. For movies i hook it up to my TV anyway.

Your setup is pretty awesome though Gaige. The desk truely completes it :P

Haha, it's a Lava lamp.
The awards are from football tournaments.

Don't forget about airflow, but doesn't look like you need to with that sort of setup.

Some of the latest i7 cores have their multiplier unlocked, so going past 4.2 is easy. Imo, if you're running anything less then 4.6 Ghz on a 2600k then you're just wasting money by not using it's full potential. So long as you aren't pushing passed 1.45v with a semi decent cooling system, then there's nothing to worry about.

Yah the airflow is good, I was worried about it but the case came 6 fans, and I added an extra 120mm today at the bottom and I can feel the heat moving properly

but seriously guys, post some pictures too, I enjoy seeing other peoples layouts, gives me ideas XD

I actually have one, just being lazy here really. I don't particularly care if it's dirty or not as long as my stuff is getting cooled properly.

Spoiler!

Gaige!

Thanks so much for bumping this thread, i'm actually building a new gaming comp so i like the fact you guys post what works for you so i can sift through it.

Funny enough im actually thinking of getting something similar to your set up:

Processor: Amd Phenom II X6 1090T or AMD Phenom II X6 1100T @ 3.3GHz
RAM: 6 GB DDR3-1333
HDD: 1TB HDD
Motherboard: MSI 870-G45
Video Card: XFX Radeon HD 6850 1GB PCI-E
Keyboard: Unknown
Mouse: Unknown
Monitor: Dell 21" Monitor
Headphones: N/A
Computer Case: Unknown

If anyone wants to give me a couple of pointers, or upgrade options then I would be more than happy to listen. I'm figuring of spending somewhere around $1,000 +/- a little.
