Awesome show but kinda short, want more now. I tend to like picking up shows with 3+ seasons with 16+ episodes each.

Thanks. I expected it to follow down the same end result just with an alternative route. Guess it is.

LOVE this show! The end to ep3 was a shock, but I could see the reasoning Shane would have had behind his actions.

Sure, he might have done it for the kid, it was still a selfish act by him. Otis helped him when Shane was about to get eaten. Also, Shane was hurt, afaik Otis were not, so the one who slowed them down was Shane, not Otis.

It actually looked like otis was limping along side shane, I do not know if that is because of him jumping off the gym bleachers or not though.

I don't think otis could sprint any longer, and was just getting slower.

Knowing Shane he probably did it mostly to save himself, but still, zombie apocalypse, look out for yourself first.

Zombies don't like to eat dead things, its like gray matter.

They love dem some live flesh.

If he shot him in the face, some might eat him, but the rest would pass otis up and keep going for shane.

Except they ate the legs of the soldier that hung himself. Then again possible they ate it when he was still 'fresh'

Am i the only one that wonders in every zombie movie or show how the hell do the zombie's beat the army ? serously IFV's APC's MBT's how the hell do the zombie's get in them or defeat them.

And i'm i the only one wondering why the hell they don't scavange weapon's from the dead soldiers ? they are always complaining about no ammo not enough guns yet you see them going by dead soldiers ALLOT there is got to be weapons there somewhere!

I dont know if you've seen (zombieland) 28 weeks later, the part where the army tries to stand up to a mass of zombies running their way and they can't tell between humans and zombies and then they get overwhelmed because theres way too many of them. That's how.

But I do agree that anti-infantry barriers + lots of rifles + mounted miniguns + airsupport would kill a shit tons of zombies before they got the army base.

I don't think the army was defeated in the show? The bases in cities have just been abandoned.
They could have easily been overrun by the sheer number of walkers in towns/cities.

I think you mean 28 weeks later ? i don't remember a army scene in Zombieland

And i think in that situation the military wouldn't care and just blast away would seem logical to me, I'd like to see a movie where the zombies actualy got there ars handed to them instead of a silly band of surivors like always

Well at the research center there was a pretty big defence line including allot of mounted weapons tanks and humvee's you would say the army would be able to hold there ground but then again wouldn't make nice telivision if the army slaughterd all the walkers and thats the end of it hahah

You're right, my zombie movie knowledge got mixed up :P
But the zombies in 28 weeks/days later are much much more dangerous than the ones in walking dead.
The zombies in walking dead are a peice of cake lol.

I think they have been defeated because at various points on the show you can see zombies dressed in military outfits.

Possible that they've got overrunned by zombies. Sounds more likely with them thinking the zombies aren't zombies and get through the defense considering they probably set up defense when there were still live people running away from the zombies.

Always the people who deny getting bitten because they dont want to die like the guy from before in TWD.

And im guessing that hordes of infected would just keep coming, so eventually the armies would run out of supplies, and if one spot goes down than all the others aswell.

There has to be some sort of military force still operating.

If some randoms can survive on a farm, then surely the army can maintain some sort of isolated stronghold.

Are all zombie based movie/shows post-apocalyptic and one guy alone carrying a shotgun (has to be a shotgun) and then he meets a hot chick etc...

Very good show. They should just turn it into a very long movie.

Not the walking dead unbeatable.

The guy woke up from a coma, had a wife, and a sniper rifle instead of a shotgun.

If you were a zombie movie maker. What would you do different?

Not use a shotgun for one.
Maybe a huge machine gun, bazooka, or handgun

I'd would love to see a big fight between the Army and zombie's and like the army winning for a change instead of the damn zombie's winning and a lonley guy saving the day

Heres another reason why an army camp may not survive a zombie attack.

With several people firing machine guns, rifles etc. It will cause a lot more noise too go off thus more zombies will hear and make their way towards the noise. With that, the army most likely won't think to fire where if one guy is reloading another guy can cover him, and they will all go out of ammo around the same time, thus making weak points in the defense. One lone zombie gets into that weak point which would make the soldiers around them have to focus on that one zombie, creating a domino effect for letting the zombies get in.

Where as one guy firing a shot won't be as loud and not drawing as many zombies towards him. and he would be less likely to get surrounded because he isn't like a giant circle of people which zombies are more likely too surround.
