I'm not too sure if this belongs in other games or not, with it technically being a flash game and all, but I thought it would be good out of common interest to place it here. I've come across, what may be an old, flash game called The Company of Myself. It's kind of a platform game crossed with someone's incredibly personal diary entries, if that makes too much sense at all. I suggest everyone gives it a go and really read and take in the narrative of the character, It's something we all can resonate with and it touched me really personally. It's a classic example that video games aren't all about killing and explosions: they as a media can be art.

I just finished the game. Sat there, with my headphones on on the volume cranked up. I must admit I've never been so "caught up" in a game before. I just couldn't leave it before I had finished it. I had to know what happened to Jack.

This was really interesting and surely a piece of art. The creator of this game is a genius!
Thanks a lot sharing such a different and somehow emotional game. Not emotional as in crying, but I just sat there when it was over and had this weird feeling that something was wrong. This was more like watching a movie or a story than actually playing a game.

Neat game. Although the gameplay is very similar to The Misadventures of P. B. Winterbottom, the story behind it is really good.

Those who enjoy playing games that leave plenty of food for thought, might want to check out One Chance, also on NewGrounds.
