I'm not going to lie, there's nothing more creepy than when a random person starts talking to me in order to try and pick up. People are obsessed with "picking up". Personally I think it's completely wrong, who the hell wants some post-pubescent kid with acne all over his gob trying to chat them up while they are working or trying to enjoy a quiet drink or a bus ride or something? Just my opinion. Pick the time and place to meet people. When your at a party be social and mingle, make some friends and what not. Get to know these people, talk to them, develop some friendship bonds and all that. When your out playing sport socialise with your team mates etc etc. Make friends in the appropriate avenues and you'll find that one friends soon turns into 10

I like public transport, I like it more than I like driving. I like just staring out the window watching the world pass by. Emerging myself in a good book completely oblivious to the fact that my stop went past 15 minutes ago. I love just putting on a good playlist and finding myself drifting between worlds. The simple things are often the most pleasurable
