I don't know how I feel about Deadmau5. On one hand a lot of his music is great. Strobe is an iconic song and I remember when Ghosts N Stuff was dropped by every DJ pretty much no matter which stage you were at.
On the other hand, I follow him on Instagram and he seems like a gigantic douche. Not sure how I feel.
I don't see how this video is trolling though unless I'm missing something. I also don't see an issue with him playing Levels, unless I missed something again. I remember when everyone and their mother dropped Levels too.

thats the point, thoses songs are overplayed by everyone so he took a shot at the edm scene by dropping them in his sets (he's been making fun of those songs for a while so its pretty hilarous to see him play them and dancing like an idiot, especially that animal remix lmfao)

But...he's like 5 years too late to try and be ironic about it. They're old news

I hate trance/club/whatever when it has no vocals. No vocals is like irritating bg music. I used to listen to TMF year mixes. Now I just prefer vocal chillstep. Hmm idea...
i love how i have plenty of content for awhile with all these livesets. im going next year forsure... 3 hours away and a couple hundred would be worth it lol

Above and Beyond still best trance there is.
QFT.
I used to like trance without vocals more before, but now I like it with vocals better :\
Yeah I think one of the first trance songs that got me into EDM had no vocals. It was in a WoW world first video though so it was really more just awesome background music.
Gareth Emery feat. Christina Novelli - Concrete Angel
Another one of my favorites. Her acoustic version is flawless
I'm also really stoked to see Ellie Goulding at Coachella for this reason. I'm a sucker for beautiful vocals
