Nah. Tywin already had a good plan that got him what he wanted.
Tyrion threw a wrench into his plan by asking for a trial by combat.
I think Tywin, despite having his plans ruined, was pleased to see his son taking charge of the situation for once.

Hehe Jaime looked like he just got scammed, he kind of did too. I am not reading the spoiler tags above, are they book or TV spoilers? i have accidently read/heard too much shit already (ie Joffrey) and I think the season finale might have been ruined for me by some cunt at school

People keep saying that.
But my deal with books that are adapted to movies/tv shows is that, while I used to enjoy reading books, I dislike the idea of ruining the show's suspense.
Even though there have been minor differences in the book vs the tv show, overall, you all already know how it's going to end.

Not really. There are still two books to be written. They are already changing a few things in the show so there are still surprises even for book readers.
You ruin the show's suspense every week when you come in here and read all the spoilers. DarkJackal has spoiled you rotten.
