i heared blades are going to be worthless?

a friend of mine from ksro told me that eventualy blades wont be that great bcz somthing with the masteries and the final levels i didnt realy understand him, any1 know what he was talking about?

no really? iv seen blader high lvls come against glaivers, and it looks even. how are they weaker? they got great def to make up for their "1 hand " dmge right? i dont see how their useless.

. doing dmg is the problem. Glavies can tank good and do massive dmg.

maybe ur friend is blader which made the wrong build and mess up with skill.......btw blader is hard to kill....

Because of the knockdown skill. It the tooltip described, for example, knockdown probability 50% (lv 69), means that the probability to knock a lv 69 mob/player is 50%. If the enemy's level is higher than 69, then that probability is reduced.
If Isro increase the lv cap , but not the skill lv, then a lv 90 with knockdown lv 69 will knock another lv90 down harder.
u can calculated the probability with this formula:
prob = ( 50 - (enemy's lv - skill lv)*1/2 ) %

full str bladers (no matter with ice, light or fire imbue) are gonna suck hell. i have access to ksro and the bladers there make around 2 or 3k with kd and 3 or 4k with tripple stab. if have around 21k hp as full str and u can add more hp by pimping ur gears so u can have totally around 26k hp. so 4k damage is nothing and the next modell of big potions will compensate it in no time. so u deal no damage als full str bade, u just itches ur opponent.

Yup, the highest will be 70. But i don't know if the knockdown % are also gonna decrease after 70, it would make sense, but then again it wouldn't.

Imagine the damage you do to them with block and defense. Blades are made to TANK. TANKING doesnt just invovle you doing damage.

wow i nevr tought some1 would ever say that a tanker can suk.. i tried pvping with a same lvl blader and guess what ? well we were fighting for like 15mins i lost all my pots and pills and said enough :\ none of us won

a pure str blader will never be usesless , even if it cant deal much damage.. and im sure they will come out with more moves for the blader to use once lvl 90 cap comes.. anyway all u need is a good wep with high crit ( 8+crit) and ull be fine.. youve forgotten that a pure strs crit really hurts..

ive been watching pvp outside don alot and no 1 seems to be able to kill the blader.. they dont even waste there time cause they know they wont be able to even put a dent in thier hps... all im saying is they might not be the best dmg dealers but they sure tank the best.. my point is would u rather have a char that can be one or two shoted or have a char that never dies??

and anyway bladers piss ppl of the most meaning they are the most fun to pvp with lol.. ppl get so mad when every other hit their on there ass haha.
Plus those lvl 51 combos are the coolest lookign moves in the whole game!

ok lol bladers are freaking awesome agaist all builds i think.. all u need is a good blocking ratio and a pretty good blade and u can fight most glaivers ur lvl or higher and gets kd skill and stabs always help and chains are pretty good

ive just recently switched to glaive from blade... and i couldnt be more
happy...

people i can kill in two hits now took 2 minute long fights to kill when i
was blade

yeah sometimes i wish i could be unkillable like i was but IMO glaivers are
pretty hard to take down also (with stun and KB that is)

But i have killed almost every blader my level (im 49) and ive never lost
to one while glaive (shields are your friend) and ill be more than glad to
fight anyone near my level just to see how i stand...

and about the high level duels...

Asaymura (SOS 64+9 glaive) fought eca (SOS 64+9 blade) both are fully
farmed and both are pimped out

eca was in hunter he zerks on Asaymura, gets a couple KDs and stabs in,
Asaymura tanks him and takes him out (and Asay is the glaiver mind you)
Im not sure about Asaymuras gear but eca's is all +5 maxxed blue so he
should be a very hard target to take down... and with his SOS+9 blade
should also deal some awsome damage... but in the end Asaymura come
out on top... woot for glaivers!

these thread is not another debate on what's better, glaive or blade. these thread is about blader's skills when level cap raises to 80.

I myself am a blader, im not losing hope on these build

. i cant umagine myself lvling using a glaive, i know they're great on pvp, and it's all becoz of their huge amount of hp :banghead:

. as for me i hate heuksal skills they look too boring, if id be given the chance to restart again i'd rather make hybrid int sword/shield, this build is i think the best build that i can think of.

Bladers = Tankers... great for group battles so the idiots go after the tanker while the nukes zap them like flies.

For level 70 cap, I say depending on how well build the blader is, they can kill a pure str glavie. I'll have to see for myself when I am done farming.
