Yeah well, i started WoW yesterday i am on server Darkspear, and i ahve a lvl 14 warrior Orc which i got in 3 hrs....So i'm playing and my friend (lvl 63 hunter) pm's me and is like are your 7 yet and im like no im 14 and he is....WTF!!! 14 already!! you must have done all the quest madd fast.. and i'm like what quests? He says the quest from lvl 1-14...He says how did you get to 14 so fast w/ out questing...I'm like Grinding....and he is like where did you learn to grind like that?.....Thinking to myself wtf is a quest you mean you don't have to grind to lvl, you can quest...So answering his previous question i said Silkroad Online....He finally said to me "Dubbs Your a Sik fluk"...So i just laughed

In conclusion i learned that not all MMO's are Grind Grind Grind....
And that you can acctually lvl off questing.....

So basically if you wanna play, come to darkspear, pm me... my ign is sdubb....

LOL, SRO helped you to be a pro hardcore grinder, even though you could do quests! :D
Gahh nearly everyone's playing WoW. I'm really thinking of giving it a try, too.

Yeah it is confusing and very overwelming, but so was SRO....either ask people, or ask a friend that plays....like i did...

But here are some basic things that are tough that take some getting used to:

attck a mob: right click

Aquiring Skills: basically you have to train them with a trainer of your race, like me i am a worrior and i have to go toa warrior trainer...

Using skills: yeah well using your skills you also, click your bar on the bottom where ever you put them....You can use the hot keys but it's difficult because you are using "adsw" to move around with...

It also takes alot long to kill mobs in Wow than in sro...Just some food for thought

I couldn't figure out where to go to get my quests. I couldn't see all of the map until you wonder in to random locations. When you finished a quest, I couldn't find out which guy it belong to (it said his name, but not his location...). Arghhh

If you weren't a complete nub you would know that there is an 'click to move' option just like in silkroad you can click somewhere and you char will move there (without any lags in wow of course) and this also works with npc's, if you right click on an npc your char will walk up to the required distance to talk to them.

Its a cool function and you might befefit from using it since your such a 'hardcore' grinder >.>"

I hate when People come to SRO forums talking about wow.. FFS dont compare a free game with a paid one. Of course the P2p has better services.

You'll almost never be confused with wow if you use this site.
MMOs are meant to be played together, if you go in alone you're bound to be disappointed.
Hope you're having as much fun as the rest of us dubb.
Enjoy

im thinking about playing WoW just so I can sell acc's.

3-4 weeks to get 70.

In SRO, unless you bot then thats just not possible.

Lvl 70 ACC is worth 600+ USD.
