I studied 4years of Latin in high school, but I got bored and switced to a science/math orientated thing.
Now I'm studying pharmaceutical sciences (2nd bachelor) and I'm enjoying it.

Nope, but I do remember a time in English when someone came in from the foreign language department to sort of advertise the Latin program. He was trying to make Latin look cool and was going on about how if you learn Latin, you can know the meanings of all sorts of interesting words just by how they are constructed. He goes, "for instance, I'll bet nobody here knows the meaning of the word 'defenestrate'." I just smiled and raised my hand, and the rest of the class laughed 'cause they knew I was good for it. Ah, that class. Good times. Teacher let me write whatever the hell I wanted for a lot of assignments. Like the one where we were supposed to write 3-5 page short stories, and instead I wrote a 1 page story with only words beginning with "s".

IIRC
What had to be proved (or is it proven?).
It's used in maths after you prove something.

Latin is a lot like French. It sounds cool when you say it, but it has no real use.

I prefer carpe scrotum. I had one person actually give me a polite smile and ask me what it meant.

Now that's just dumb. Over 300 million people from over 50 countries speak French and you say it's not useful? Go compare to Punjabi or something, lol.

I like the way latin sounds. Perhaps I like it because my own language (ROMANIAN FTW) is a heavily based latin language. More then 70% of all words in romanian derive from latin. Perhaps this explains why I like it. I've allways wondered how it sounds, spoken by somebody from America. (NO offense please) In that case, it does sound like crap indeed.

This year = Law, Economics, History, Geography, Psychology, French, English
Me = Have to learn a lot of latin for most of my classes.
I think it was until 1965, or at least around there, until the catholic church decided that it's mass was no longer to be "performed" in Latin =\

De gustibus et coloribus non disputandem est.
Can't find the correct English translation.
Dutch: over smaken en kleuren valt niet te twisten.
English'ish: you can't argue about colours and flavours.
