This is my first char so i dont know what i am supposed to do exactly. I made a full int becouse i like "mage" characters.Firsth i went for ice imbue becouse i tought "wow i can freeze the enemy" but now i am using fire imbue becouse i found out i can kill enemies faster and so i consume less MP. For now i have 25 fire 23 ice,lighting 20, force 23 and sword 21. My idea is to have fire for imbue and nuke and sword for skills. I raised lighing for increase in magic damage and i have 23 force for harmon therapy. My problem now is that recently i found out autopotin and i am not using any force skills anymore so i plan to delevel force to 0 becouse it is uselles now. So the main question is is it better +90 defence from ice or +1000 hp from spear,becouse i dont know if to delevel force and ice and raise spear for extra hp. Or delevel force and keep ice 23 to frostbite enemyes.or to continue with ice and delevel just force? I am interested in opinions

spear passive

delevel force and go for the heuksal passive.
Maxed ice passive + frost guard gives +97 physical defence. At the cap, 97 phys. defence is a joke.
You can keep cold for now, for the frost nova, and delevel it later. frost novas are useful in difficult PvE situations.
1k HP can count alot. Heuksal passive is better then frost guard + passive IMO.
A pure INT character uses what we call "nukes". These are the skills you aquire at level 30. They are magical damage skills.
The nukes are: flame wave arrow, flame wave burning and flame wave wide for the fire tree; wolf's thunderbolt and tiger's thunderbolt for lightning tree; snow storm - ice shot, and snow storm - ice rain, for the cold tree.

Try reading some of the stickied guides in the Characters&Skills section, to get to know INT builds better.

Thanks for the advices. So i guess i will be going for spear passive. By the way i know what nukes are i just wanted to know if at higher levels the extra 96 defences are important as 1000 more hp.and it looks like u said that 96 defences arent that great as +1000 hp

1 thing here...being pure int sword nuker, u gt a castle shield skills series which increases a hell lot of phy def in 15 sec(cooldown is long tho)
so u can always thk tis way...
the castle shield can substitute for the ice phy def buffs...so go for spear passive ..
juz my view...i asked the same qn b4 here and i m convinced to go spear passive

lol, fire, sword, ice, light, spear will not work

for a pure INT - Sword + Fire + lighting and Spear Passive is te best .. until lvl cap...
Ice Sucks at high levels... i have seen my friends sulking to death with ice IMO

not true... ICE PWNS!!! lol im jk but i have ice and i think its the best cause even if you do less damage it takes like 3seconds to pill off and that gives me time to get off another anti devil bow.

i think i will listen to everyone and take the spear passive. Here is my idea for my char so feel free to add crits
Sword 69 - for 5 hit combo , KD and max passive
Spear 69 for exra hp
Ice 23 to slow enemies
Lighting 69 for +16 mag dmg or something like that,for nuke and lion shout and all the other usefull skills
Fire 69 for main fire nuke and fire imbue and the skill to reduce magic effects and fire shield

it is 299 mastery level so i should be ok.
This is what i think is good for my char but i dont have any previous experience so i may be totaly wrong so feel free to add what i should change ar add

People are ice immune at the cap. drop the ice.
Go for: 80 fire, 80 bicheon, 70 light, 70 heuksal. At the 90 cap, you should be aiming for: 90 fire, 70 bich, 70 light, 70 heuk

Thats more than the defence of a 72 shield (obvious you havnt BR factor), so I dont consider that a joke. With Ice you have both extra defence and frost nova, thats mean extra defence against most of the mobs of the game and the possibility of frost them if your getting banged for 5 mobs. I think that this 2 factor will save your life more times than 1k extra life.

About how to distribute your masteries if you choose spear it has no sense go with heuskal 70 if you arent using their weapon skills.

Fire 80, Bicheon 80, 68 light and choose between 68 ice or 60 heuskal (dont waste SP if you dont need something).

OK here i am again wih the same problem. Mosat of you was for Sper skills and most of you said that ice skills are useless. I was thinking that maybe ice skills for a full int are most useful than spear.I am using sword as a weapon so i wont use spear skills but just the passive. Somehow it sound a bit dumb to wast so much sp for just a passive skill. If i get ice i will have another nuke and also the skills to slow enemies( lol i still dont know the name of he skills ingame ) Are the ice skills realy so useless and the ice nuke so weak that it isnt worth raising??

no, but if ur a bum like me, do spear, u'll rearely use ice in high lvls cause of its weak nuke xD
