ok here is the deal. a friend of mine.. no really a friend. i'm pure int as you can see from my sig..

anyway he got this character... and before you say dump that shit.. right now!! i told him that..the sec he told me he was a hybrid.... and then again (a little louder) when he told me his balance and his skills.. but he doesn't want to give it up... go figure..anyway..

he is lvl 37 with

his str points is : 96
and his int points: 124

which makes his phys balance: 69%
and his mag balance: 70%

so uhm any way anybody can come up with a build that won't totally s.uck or maybe even own at lvl 70 or so.. or at the cap of 80?? plz help me out here....i'm bad with hybrids but all those guys who claim that hybrids can be strong.. build a nice one from this rubble

if he is hybrid int....

1st option: delevel cold and force get fire and light up instead

2nd option: delevel force and continue to level cold and light to high levels

3rd option: delevel light and continue to level cold and force


i would highly reccomend the first option but it is really up to him

Drop force, up light (for speed, and magic damage buff)

I would shoot for something like 80 spear, 80 light (or fire if he wants to make that his main), 70 fire (or 80 depending on if he chooses light as his main or not), and cold 68 (enough for the last frost guard and max passive)

Alternatively, it could be 80 light\fire, 70 spear, and 68 cold because he would deal more damage from the force series than the weapon series. Though hes hybrid, so weapon skills might not be a bad idea.

I would shoot for a 90+ mag balance nekkid then you can start putting str points if you choose, or just go int from now on.

yeah that's what i thougt too... cause hybrid str is out of the question so hyrbrid int is said to be best at mag balance 85 -90% but 85% he can not reach till like lvl 80

and then fire is a must since he'll need all the dmg he can get. since he is hybrid and got too little mag balance. well i guess he can compensate by getting gear with a lot of +int all the time.

so drop cold and max fire, light as a sub, force just the way it is.

Drop force unless your going to take it to the max. Up fire and light.

IMO the balances are ok
delevel force
use fire as main for Imbue , buffs and nukes
Light for buffs (grass walk, pierce force , concentration, pasive) light imbue sucks compared to fire imbue nuks optional
Ice don't know but if u level it only for ice guard& passive = phy def and frost nova
Heusukal max it & use spear

really you think 70%:70% is ok.. cause that is a 1:1 hybrid and even hybrids admit that that is kind of a crappy build from what i've heard. Or you got any high lvl's with that build saying that they do ok?? cause i would be happy to talk to them. it would save him some drama if i could tell him that his balance is ok and is just gonna improve if he keeps putting int in. Or are you even saying he has to keep his balance at 70:70???

I think hes saying that 70:70 balance at lvl 37 is not beyond repair. I would put all the points into INT from now on until you get a 90+ mag balance with no gear. Also, in this game, INT points increase your balance quicker than STR points. So 70:70 actually has more INT than STR, its not 1:1. I wouldnt keep the balance at 70:70, i would go INT heavy hybrid from now on.

That's not really that bad at all. Just level fire up and go all int from here on out and he's fine. Delevel force whenever he has the money but no rush since it'll be a while until he hits the 300 max.

Basically Pump Int which will give him a 85% balance before Blues, Use Spear Skills to train as before he hits 80%mag nukes will be a bit weak and that about it,

Hehe dont dump. Hybrid int ftw..... Dump force and put those sp for lightning and whatnot. Then switch from glavie to spear.

Go Int from now on. your buddy has 13 lvls into STR. Make sure you go spear. your phy att will be strong as hell. but guys you can have ahybrid char, pure , or whatever! ITS ALL BASED ON GEAR.

yeah true.. gear is in the end what makes the diffrence.. but it helps if your base ain't crappy.

MY tip would be to switch to a 2:1 int hybrid, very strong, at the same time some HP to take some hits. In order to change his stats to this put all stats on INT up till lvl 41, then at 42 start with INT 2 STR 1. It's my build with S/S , and since your spear, you'll have more HP. As for skill. Go for light and fire, for Max mag attack. due to fire being strongest and light has the mag attack buffs.

delevel his force to... 0! then work on fire and light, max them and max ice. Every stat point he gets needs to go into int until 73~76% naked int balance or 80~85% if he wants to suck a lil more in 1 v 1 pvp

lol s.uck more with higher mag balance...?? i won't go off topic on int's and pvp with ya.. but lol

Dont listen to people who says ints suck at pvp as its complete Bs, they dont. just tell him to keep pumping int and he will be fine at the cap

well i'm 54 8 gap and i still win most of my fights...and i'll totally own at lvl 57 when i close my gap. Int sucking at pvp.. please fight someone who knows what he's doing. And 40+ cause nukes take a few lvl's to get strong.
