ok guys, a little help.

i'm running my monitor at 1400x1050, which is the ideal for me, but the highest res. setting SRO has by default is 1280x1024. does anyone know a way to adjust this so all my off-screen windows don't resize everytime i start SRO? VERY annoying. i know there was a way to do it in KalOnline... help! thanks!

I don't know your answer, but...

You run at 1280x1024 in game? Chop free?

I have a higher end system and still running at 1024x768 in game. It sometimes chops with all the shop names in Donwhang. But I'd love to go 1280 - then things would appear right when I switch to the forums and MSN messanger.

mostly chop-free. every now and again i get caught up around the dong storage, you know how that is.

i tried 1600x1280, but it cut off certain on-screen things... it's not a huge deal, but it'd be awesome if someone had a solution...

Ah see, my flat screens PHYSICAL resolution is 1280x1024

Whenever you run something different, it has to resize the output for the screen

1024x768 ---> 1280x1024 So I lose image quality because its blowing it up larger

But when I match it, its choppy

I also run my desktop and most games at 1400x1050 as well, I don’t have a WS monitor but still prefer that res..

I run silkroad at 1280x1024, game runs smooth and looks good enough though it resizes my desktop res to the same while the game is open.

Guess it’s good enough for now but it would be nice to have SRO at my desktop res.. They defiantly need to be adding some more options in there along with WS res.. If I had a WS monitor I would be pretty ticked off being forced to use those (and I will in the near future)

I havent checked yet, but maybe there is a .ini (usualy in the root or system/data folder) file you can manually change the res, works for some games.
